As of yesterday, I am a US citizen! Still haven't completely processed it in my mind, but planning to apply for the US passport soon, and once I receive it I am sure it will feel more real.

Hi all! I received an SMS and Email on Jan 3rd that my interview has been scheduled, and today (Jan 7th) I received a letter in the mail that my interview will be on February 8th. It's time to study for the civic test!

Hi All,

I tried to log into myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov and check my case status yesterday and today, but the account interface has completely changed and there is no way to check my case status anymore.

When I check my case status via https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do, it has an old info about my biometrics appointment being scheduled. When I logged into myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov two days ago, it had a note that my interview had been scheduled, but that page has disappeared since and I can't find that information anymore.

Is everybody experiencing this problem? Do you know what happened to the myaccount page?

After reading everybody's posts about the scheduled interview, I logged into my account, and saw the same thing! There was no such message there last week. I also don't see any new PDFs or the date the interview has been scheduled for. Will just wait for an update or the physical letter.

It looks like they have actively started working on July IOE cases! Too bad they have not scheduled our interviews before the elections...

I just followed the instructions that are under the case tracking info (these steps in particular):

4. Click "Quote" on the most recent/updated posting version of this list.
5. Remove the "Quote Coding" at the top and bottom of the list.
6. Always use [Courier New] Font and font size.[12]
7. Make changes and Add Reply.

Basically, once you click "Quote", the page will open with the response that you are quoting. Then delete "Quote Coding" at the top of the list (i.e. the name of the person you are quoting, the date/time, the word "said:"), and add IOS or NBC to the line with your name (depending on your application number). If your name is not listed, just add your data to the bottom of the corresponding Lockbox (copy and paste somebody else's info and update with your info).

I finally received my green card in the mail today. So relieved! Will run to DDS tomorrow to renew my driver's license! Hope I will get it back before the trip (which is unlikely though).

I was getting status updates by text and email every time the status was changing this time (the card is in production, the card was mailed, the card was delivered). I wonder why it didn't work before.

On July 2nd I finally got a status update via text and email that my card was mailed to me. It took them longer to mail it than for some other people here, I started worrying as my husband and I are leaving on a trip in a couple of weeks and we need to get my green card before the trip.

Additionally, my friend who applied for ROC via VSC about two weeks later than me also got approved late last week. So VSC is moving, just slowly.

I wish everybody who is still waiting sooner approvals!

I am planning to file for citizenship as soon as I can, but since my husband and I are going on a long-term trip (under 6 months, but still long), I won't be able to apply 90 days before my 3rd year anniversary of my permanent residency. Therefore, I will apply after we come back from our trip, which will probably be several months after you apply.

I will be checking the N-400 forum well before we apply and will probably see you there!

It is good to know they didn't update anything on their website, at least they get some part of the job done:) Also, please let us know if your online status happens to update. I wonder if they will eventually update it or they will just keep it un-updated.

I checked my status on the USCIS website this afternoon, and my status has finally changed to: "My New Card Is Being Produced"! About 30 minutes after I received a text and an email that my card is in production and should arrive within 30 days of the approval of my application. Glad they in the end updated the information online and in their other systems!

I will keep you posted! I wonder if I ever receive a text message and email I subscribed for. I think all kind of notifications were broken for my case (including my late biometrics letter)... Well, at least they did have my documents and reviewed them on par with other cases submitted around the same time.

I also wish your and cases of others get to a productive officer!

My ROC was approved on 06/18/2015! I received a letter in the mail today! I am technically a November filer with the 11/4/2014 NOA1 date, but I posted my timeline in the October 2014 filers thread as I sent my documents in October. I wanted to let you know about my approval so that you knew they are now processing more and more November filers in Vermont, and will get to your case soon!

Woohoo, guys!!! Great news from me this time - I received an approval letter in the mail today!!! Date of decision on the letter is 6/18/2015. It took them 7.5 months from the Application Receipt date (NOA1 Date). I still can't believe it! My husband and I are so happy! We can now also go on our big trip!

My website status has not been updated ever since they received my application, even now it says "My Case Was Received". I signed up for email and text notifications, but didn't get any of those either. When I saw a letter in the post box from USCIS tonight I first thought it was an RFE, but then realized it could also be an approval, and it was!

Posted this in the October 2014 filers thread, but will post here too: Good news on the Processing Time Information page for VSC posted today - they are now done processing October 27, 2014 applications as of April 30, 2015. Since it is middle of June now it means they should be actively processing November applications and should be finishing October applications. We will see how soon they will approve early November filers...

Ah and yes, walk in is a good idea. You can just try to do a walk in next week! I did it as my appointment was also on a date I was traveling, so instead of rescheduling I just tried to do a walk-in several days before the appointment. My first walk-in attempt failed due to the biometrics place being full that day (that was Friday). I tried again the next week and came very early, when they just opened, and was allowed to get my biometrics done.
