When submitting supporting documents to NVC before scheduling interview, do you also submit the police clearance/crimminal record?

You can check current processing times for that here - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/nvc-timeframes.html
It's usually super quick, then it's just the wait for an interview, and that varies hugely depending on the consulate.
Right now they are still working on the cases on Jan 31, 2024...so I just need to wait...and another long wait for the interview date because its taking too long in the Philippines

I heard that is when you are in line to be scheduled.
I read on other forums that it needs to be documentarily qualified first before they put you in line for a schedule.
-
I am now waiting for NVC to have my submitted forms and documents to be documentary qualified. Has anybody here have been documentary qualified?

Is there any specific time of the day ISCIS updates the cases?
I don't think so...because I last 01/26/2024 I checked my Mom's case in the morning and in the afternoon, both of which they are not yet approved. But then on Sunday 01/28/2024 I have checked it again and it says approved last 01/26/2024. So maybe they changed the status night of Saturday 01/26/2024. I don't think it has a specific time that they have update on the cases. Just keep on checking.

I filed for my both parents on 02/28/2023. Initial NOA on the same day was from Nebraska.
My dad's application was sent to California and it's been under review since March 2023. Estimated processing time went from 1 week to taking longer than expected and no back to 6 months.
My mom's application was sent to Vermont and status changed to "being review" on September 6, 2023. Her estimated time is still showing 1 week.
Maybe they transferred your dad's application to a different service center. You can call USCIS and ask.

Mine changed today to 2 weeks after having a processing time of 3 weeks for 14 days

Filed for my mom

Feb 15 - filed online same day notice
Feb 27 - NOA 1
Sept 2 - Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS
Did your processing time changed?

I believe it updates automatically based on their ETA. I wouldn't be surprised if it reaches the end of the 3 weeks and then says "it's taking long than we expected".
I'm still being hopeful
-
@okland At least its updating right?
-
Anybody has an update on their case?
-
its now saying 4 weeks
