  1. Hi Everyone,

So I received I751 approval notice yesterday and GC will be mailed shortly afterwards. But now my husband is looking to fill out N400 form and he wants to bring over his family. My husband's mother and his stepfather (they had married before my husband turned 18). So I was under the impression that in the form somewhere, there would a section to enter that information. I don't see it. Can anyone help us? He also has a brother who is 11 years of age. Is there any way we can include all of them in the form and bring them over once his N400 is approved?

Yes! I applied online on March 21 and on March 22nd I received a letter in the mail saying my 751 had been transferred to Texas. It was approved less than two months later.

You can file for N400 while your I751 is processing? My husband got a RFE notice on Feb 2018 and they received our response for RFE on April 2018. Can we file N400 while our RFE is pending and processing? How does that work? Can someone please explain this to me. Thank you

  3. Hi all,

On Feb 28, 2017, my husband from Nepal and I had filed for I751. The biometrics appointment were sent a couple months after. And on February 2018, we got a notice asking for more evidence. USCIS received our response for RFE on April 2018 but since then I haven't heard anything. I check our status on the USCIS website but it says Vermont Service Center will be working on it soon. I guess my question is 'is anyone else on the same boat' The 1 year extension had also expired. How long are they taking to respond to RFE because I was told for some people they get responses back within a few weeks. Also, since he's eligible to apply for citizenship, how would it work if we apply for citizenship before we get a response for our RFE. Please help. Thank you

  5. Congratulations. so happy for you. :goofy:

Well for now nothing you need to do. You pay the $165 fee on Elis to pay for green card. You still have to keep evidence of a Bonafide relationship and 90 days from his 2 year anniversary of his POE you can file the Removal of Conditions ROC.

Here is the guide to ROC. But for now you don;t have to do anything.

Thank you so much for the heads up!!!!!! We got married on May 26, 2013 and he's flying in today. So we are short a little over a month. Paid the $165. So if i understand correctly, I will have to file Removal of Conditions in February 2017? Thank you!!!! Have a blessed day yall!!!!!

  6. Dwheel...anything on what it means when after interview it states administrative processing

If the interviewer said "The case seems to be fine" or anywhere along the same line, it means your visa will be issued but it takes a little bit of time for them to update it online. Thats what happened to my husband. The interviewer told him that the case looked fine after a few questions and told him he'll receive a text to say when and where to get the visa. And the status changed to issued in about 9 hours after the interview.

  7. Morning everyone,

I found out that my joint sponsor made a mistake on her I-864 form and I was wondering if I should send my I864 along with the corrected joint sponsor's form just to be on the safe side. What are people's thoughts on it? Should I just send the AOS form for the joint sponsor or should I send mine again as well.. I appreciate your help. Please advice since I'm thinking of sending it in today.

AOS scan date 9/12 and IV Oct 23rd

  8. I need some advice. I just realized I made a mistake on my AOS which was scanned on September 12. Since its almost been 60 days, I thought it might be best to wait for a checklist (just in case if there were other mistakes.) I called NVC today to ask for their opinion, and the guy said that they review both the IV and AOS together. Unfortunately, my IV was scanned on Oct 23rd and they go by the last scan date. The representative specifically said that even if I was to receive AOS checklist, that would not be until 60 days from the IV scan date. ANY SUGGESTIONS????? Any help would be appreciated..

This is so devastating...... I was hoping my husband would join me during the holidays but I guess thats way out of the picture now :(((((

  9. CASE COMPLETE

Now I need the tears of happiness to stop. I have no idea how this transpired. Perhaps it was due to mine and my husband's phone calls to NVC and the Supervisor's this week. I guess it shows that it can pay off to persevere.

Our only hope now is that all of our VJ friends also get a CC soon and can be back with their loved ones as soon as possible.

I am so happy for you and your family and Congratulations to all those that got their CCs!!!!!!!! Now we just have to be patient and get through this, hopefully sooner rather than later :)

  10. 60 days processing period is sucks....even though they are saying they are working on it reduce....Yah...!!! its been 8 months or so saying same bullshit....

Shibo, I wonder why it took them so long to process yours... Was yours checklisted?? I thought they were taking less time to review the checklists.. Prayers up for all of us. I hope this will soon come to an end
