Mexes got a reaction from Ian H. in How long does it take to process I-765 and EAD renewal?
Thank you Ian. I'll make updates here when I receive it.

You were supposed to apply for a renewal before it was close to expiring, they let you apply for renewal 120 days before the expiration date. If the EAD expires, I don't think you are allowed to work until you receive the new one. You may be able to request an expedite if you are working and will experience financial hardship if you lose it. I believe the renewal takes about the same time, it could be 2 to 3 months for normal processing.

I just double checked, it's taking 3 months at the NBC, but a lot of times it's issued in less. Like I said, you may be able to request an expedite. Here is some info on expedite requests:

This is for the others who will have the same question. The package really arrived when FedEx confirmed it. USCIS sent me a confirmation 5 days later with the date when they received the package by FedEx. So, they probably need 4-5 days to process it. NOA arrived 8 days after.

Yes, you can renew the AP using an I-131 in the same way. I think you can even put them in the same envelope.
Same supporting documents, except a completed I-131 instead of an I-765.

    1) No fee. Just send a copy of your I-485 NOA with the I-765 renewal application to show your AoS is still pending.
    2) Correct.
    3) (i) A completed I-765; (ii) a copy of the front and back of your current expiring EAD; (iii) the aforementioned copy of your I-485 NOA receipt; (iv) two passport photographs.
