I was very confused at the beginning too. Then I figured out my I-751 was filed by paper so it won't automatically show under my profile in https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/. However, there's a button on the right side, to add a case filed by paper. Put your recipient number, then you will see at least the recall log.

Oh, Thanks. I add my I-751 recipient number and shows that May 14 we recalled your GC.  I mailed my GC to them on May 16.

I got to know that my status is "we recalled your GC" because I happen to check my account here: https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ but I have not received e-mails, messages or notifications from them stating they got my recall envelope.

But that is for citizenship. How do you check your I-751?

For I-751, I checked https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do and I log in it and the latest news was about my 10 year GC is mailed.

  3. Is there anybody to add my info to the chart? I don't know how to do that. All my info is the top of this page. Thanks

    Thank you for the info.

I applied online on 05/16 as well and my biometric is scheduled on 06/05. My I751 was approved but I still haven't received my GC yet.

I plan to take my approval letter and my DL/Passport. Honestly, I don't think it would cause an issue.

So many folks applied and went to FP with their I751 pending.

May I ask which State are you living in? I am in DC/VA.

Our timeline is similar so I kinda want to keep track :)

    Mine is Pittsburgh, PA.

  4. I called USCIS right now and talked with the representative. I explained the situation and she said that just have the letter and a copy of your green card with yourself in the appointment date. Then it is fine.  We know about the mistake and it wouldn't affect the process of your citizenship.

    I hope she is right.

Please share your opinion if you have any issue like mine. Thanks

  5. hiiiiiii friends, I got my fingerprints appointment.  Just updating my info.  I applied N400 on May 16,2018, and my fingerprint schedule is June 6.

According to my online file, the estimated time for whole processing is 8 months.

I have a question, I am sure everyone knows about the RECALL GROUP for GC recently. Mine is one of them. I sent back my GC on May 17 and still I have not heard anything from them. According to the fingerprint appointment letter, I have to take my GC there as ID, which I don't have it right now.  Does anyone have the problem that I have? If so, what should I do? Did anyone have their fingerprint with having GC on their hands? :(

That would be good and then you can share it with us.    As far as N400 its dependent on your office, however, if you apply online it takes around a few days before you get your biometrics appointment, they are normally around 3 weeks later.  Interviews are dependent on your field office and the date on your conditional GC.  For example I applied on 28th Feb, about three days later I received my biometric letter. I had my bio metric appointment on the 22nd of March. I am expecting to receive my appointment letter around the 26th April, a month before my 3 year anniversary on my conditional GC. I expect my interview will be sometime in June as my office is at 5 months processing times, so pretty quick hopefully for me. I wouldn't be surprised if my Naturalisation ceremony is around July 4th.

My local office is Dallas, Tx. The estimated time processing is 15 -20.5 months. That is weird. isn't it?

Not that Im aware off, you would have changed the Social security card once you received AOS to say youre entitled to work.  Unless Im unaware of something else. I haven't seen anyone discussing this, but a good question.

Just curious to know. I will call SS and share their response soon... Shell, I am planning to take an international trip in summer. Can u tell me what the processing for applying N-400 is?  I mean, finger print, interview, ...

  8. Hello everyone, I just got my approval letter from USCIS.  That was the only thing that I didn't expect it at all. FYI, I submitted my docs on  23 Feb. 2017.  about Feb. 2018, my status changed to, " your case have moved to local office on 5 March.  Any time, I checked my case, it said, we are preparing your doc. to assigned officer, and still it's the same message.

I hope everyone else gets approve and can take a relief breath....  Thanks for all your help and giving hopes in all of this process especially Shell.

Now, do u think I go to apply for Citizenship or waiting for my GC and then?

Hi I remember you.  Just seen your post about being VSC, one of the lucky ones. I have no doubt you will hear very shortly. As for ringing up, I nearly did that last week, I am so curious now wondering if I had would they have told me it was adjudicated last Tuesday?  My status never changed and there was no update or trail for me to know that I might have been approved. Trouble is when you ring the USCIS sometimes the tier 1 officer wont always have direct access to updated information. So they may say no and you may have already been approved.

Thanks Shell. I read your quotes once a while and you are so nice and positive to everyone and everything. I am not sure what to do, but maybe call or wait at the max... hopefully, I hear sth. from them. This process is too long and boring for everyone.

By the way, congratulations to you and have a wonderful time in your son's wedding.
