  1. Hello everyone, and congratulations to people who their case has been approved.. I am not very active but I am checking this journey often ...

FYI, I haven't got any news from USCIS and I am getting a little bit nervous. I am going to call them to see what is my situation.

By the way, I am going to apply for N-400, and in the list of documents, I saw about the copy of the green card.  While I don't have my green card, how can apply for citizenship?  Thanks everyone

What is the best number to call the USCIS to follow my case?

Got a case update today via email. It says “ On January 8, 2018, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number EACXXXXXXXXXX will mail it to the address you gave us....”

Does it mean my case is approved? I havnt  got any letter since they mailed my receipt and extension letter.

Congrats people who got approvals. Hey gypsysoul, do u remember we submitted our file at the same time? ... Ha ha

Good luck and I hope I get mine soon as well. I need it for my new job that starts tomorrow...

  3. Hello everyone, I have a question about my eligibility for citizenship.  I got married with a U.S. Citizen in March 2014. I applied for my second green card ( remove conditional) in Feb. 2016 and still is in processing.  Can you tell me when I can apply for N-400?  I really do not know I could have applied for citizenship?  FYI, I got my 1st green card in May 2015 almost 1 year after our marriage.

    Thanks.

  4. Hey guys, Biometrics done for us on 3/27. My status hasn't changed in USCIS yet.

I got this message in my status that says, " On February 27, 2017, we received your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received"

I applied for I-751. Why did it mention my case as CRI-89? I came here with a fiance visa.  Did you get the same form number too?

For Health insurance, send the copies of your joint insurance cards.

For 401K & Life insurance, send pages/documents, which shows you are the beneficiary. I am sure you can find these documents online. The letter from your husband's company should be fine too.

You don't need to send copy of the policies if you can send the above.

Also, don't be stressed about the misspelled name. If you don't get the proofs with correct name in time, Send documents with misspelled name and explain everything in a cover letter with the application.

    Good luck.

Thank you so much for your help. It seems logically.

  6. Thank you so much. There are a lot of stuff that I haven't done it yet. So stressful.

My spouse is trying to get a copy of policies from health, life insurance and 401k and retirement plan from his company.  The company made a mistake in my spelling name. Now, he is trying to contact to all of the different companies to correct this misspelling. The HR said that we are not responsible to correct it. That is so weird to me. Fortunately, we have a letter from his company which says that I ( with correct spelling of my name in the letter) am the beneficiary of life insurance, I am listed as his 401k, ....  do u think is it enough for immigration or they need a copy of all the policies too?

    Thanks for your help friends.

    1. i sent the original and kept a copy cause i really dont see the use of keeping the original. (if i need an original i'll just ask my friends to sign a new one)
2 your husband got a letter from his company? i'd keep the original and send a copy . no need for the actual policies, just summary showing you as the beneficiary.

3 the ARN is the number on your green card

4 the online account number, i've no idea what that is. i left it blank.

Thanks for your answer. I have another question. Should I leave blank the online account number or write " none"?? also when I don't have any child, the children section should be left blank or N/A in all parts?
