I had the worst experience traveling on my extension letter, POE - LAX. I was escorted to a separate room, had to wait for 1.5 hours (and that's after flying for more than 24 hours). Then the interrogation started, the officer was so rude to me, and at the end threw my passport back at me. During the wait I could hear other officers screaming at travelers things like - "Go back to your country", "You are a fraud", and 'learn how to speak English, you are in the US now'. I am still so traumatized, I am not traveling anywhere until I get my 10-year green card or a passport. 

I also have my letter, and it asks for both of those so i think that is standard list of what to bring. I am assuming it just means your 485 notice and EAD card, and you should already own a certified marriage doc, but if you don't then yes you def need to buy one!

I think this will become a factor and may be a reason to put the case in A P as we see with many cases from Egypt. They are certainly going to want to know about this basic difference in beliefs impact on the relationship.
