My date was actually 08/19/16. The "NOA" im referring to here for August 30 is the notice of approval. sorry for the confusion.

FINALLY got my letter in the mail yesterday. I don't have the card in hand as of yet however it says I have been approved and the card should be in the mail within the next 60 days. I know it will probably make it to me by Monday of next week latest.

The NOA was dated 8/30/17 and received the letter 9/6/17.

Just checking in the waiting process is so looooooonnnggggg and boring! my 2 year Conditional card finally expired last week so now I have my expired card and my extension letter for proper documentation purposes riding around with in my car! You never know with Presidential changes!

Based on timelines and trends I'm expecting CSC filers to start seeing some activity in February-March of next year and sadly VSC maybe closer to June-August! ughhhh! Well the holidays filled with family and fun should make the time fly by a little faster!

Congrats CSC filer's on biometrics! Now we all wait "patiently"

I got my biometric appointment today in the mail. it is on 09/19.

Congrats!! Got my biometrics letter today also!! Biometrics day is 09/20/2016!! Sadly my wide misplaced my original I 751 notice, I have a picture of it but not the original document. Got my NOA in the mail today, receipt dated 09/02/16, let out a little "Yay" at my mailbox.

Husband and I played Pokemon GO at our usual spot tonight with some of our friends. Making plans for a trip to NYC around my birthday with them because one of their birthdays is three days before mine Gonna look at houses tomorrow I think. Busy busy times.

Update!! Had my interview today at New Orleans Office at 10:20. Showed up at the place where the interview was scheduled in Metairie( 2424 Edenborn Ave) 10 mins early just to go up to third floor and see that the offices have been moved to Poydras Ave deep in New Orleans. My wife and I jumped in the truck and "rushed" to the new office. Close to the Superdome oh what a joy traffic was. We made it 10 mins after the official time and checked in. We placed appointment letter at window the guard instructed us to. The IO came out shortly (idk how she knew) however she called my name after 2 mins in waiting room. We went in and were sworn in immediately. Here are interview details:

She double checked my answers on my I-485 application. Asking me full name, DOB, address basically everything on the 485 sheet.

She then if that was my signature on the 485. She did that same thing for the 130 for my wife.

She then asked if we had any more documentation showing more commingling however we did not. We had no bills no lease agreement nor insurance policies. We did provide a photo book of us throughout the years.

She asked a few non personal questions: how did we meet? Where did we meet? When did we decide to get married? Who proposed? She then started talking about me being approved for my green card throughout the conversation. She Said my card will be received in 30 days. Told us about the conditional timeline of the green card and when to file update.

We were out in less than 10 mins total from swearing in to leaving out the door. On the way back to our car I received update through email saying case was updated. I am soooooo happy. Waiting on tracking number now and glad this is over in less than 3 months.

Still waiting here too! EAD and AP both still on initial review since August 18 and I485 still in acceptance since 28th of August. Bio was 25th of September. I have a job offer and really need my EAD!!

My I-485 just moved to testing and Interview. Did they post your interview date online after it was scheduled?

That is the appropriate stage that you should be in (according to the little description they give with it on the website), it will change once you are done with the interview.

Yes you are right. Its Testing and Interview stage. Got a little too excited I guess. but yes it is moving amazingly fast with no RFE. Preparation worries now! Double and triple checking forms. gathering documents and evidence. Good thing is I have 30 days to do this!

Update! Today I received an update saying Interview scheduled for Nov 6th. Said the mail was sent out yesterday 10/0514(Sunday????) It is still in "testing & Interview" online however it has been scheduled.

Okay guys,

I have crazy news!

First thing, my EAD changed to card production today and AP changed to post decision activity.

Second thing, my AOS application got expedited! I have my interview on October 14th, 2014! Crazyyy, I know.

The reason my case is expedited is because my husband is a active duty military and he is currently deployed. The USCIS website says deployed members can request expedite which will be evaluated case by case. We requested the expedite through the local congressman's office.

I am excited because Dallas is so backlogged right now that an October interview is a miracle.

If any of you are military families, you can call and try to expedite your case. The least they can say is no.
