I have a question...we had to move my husbands interview from the original date. Do I need to get a new interview letter with the new date? I called and spoke to AIS last night and he said no the letter was valid for a year? I did print off the instructions with the new dates etc (This if for Juarez).

I ask becuase you need your letter to get into your medical exam.

Hi Guys...Interview is set up for April 29th! Starting to get everying organized and ready!!

I haven't filed my 2014 taxes yet..so I won't have a transcript. Will that be a issue?

Congratulations case complete. NVC schedules the interviews. The get the slots from the embassy and they start plugging people in based on case complete and your PD also comes into play

I am just got my CC in January with NVC..and now I am waiting for a interview to be set up. My husband will be going through the process in Juarez (Mexico). The NVC rep told me that they set up in batches twice a month. My question is...anyone else here for Juarez that has not been set up yet and what is your CC date?

Called NVC twice yesterday....checked online after thier close times and nothing. Checked this morning at 5 am CST and 3 NAs!!!!! Called them and confimred case complete was yesterday!!! No checklist!

hi guys is it normal? no cc no checklist yet . since my last checklist scan date nov19 .66 days already.. i have been calling them 2-3 times since last 8-9 days

all rep says the same thing . its being reviewed u may hear something soon. im tired of this s**t

NVC is all over the place. I have heard people waiting past the 60 days and others getting it fast.

Maybe have a congressman do an inquiry.

just an advice from my recent experience:

Last time I called before IV was invoiced and DS-260 completed rep told me to send all the paperwork with AOS cover letter, not to wait for IV payment and DS-260 completion. That was by the time you complete IV payment and DS-260 they will get all the paperwork and will start reviewing (counting 60 days) sooner.

I don't know if it's a good advice or not, thats what I was told. Also rep advised to use cover letter from AOS because he said cover letter that comes with Welcome letter is too confusing with all those checklists.

Also he told me not to separate packages and put everything in one envelope, AOS papers first, IV supporting docs last.

I was told the same thing. It was taking them a long time to review the DS-261 that I was told to just turn everything in and get the 60 day clock ticking. I paid the fees and did the DS-260 after they already recieved my docs.

whats going on with NVC. it says all line are busy. try later. any one else facing the same problem?

That is normal...takes aout 35 days to get a case number.

So I received a 2nd checklist for us to provide a new I864a on the petitioner (Myself) not just the household sponsor. Even though I was a student last year and had barely any income. I guess I should use my new w2 and file for new taxes this year even though they did not ask for it in the first checklist. My AOS check scan date was Nov 26.

I hope others have better luck than we are. i don't see this process finishing until late summer

Have you tried calling and asking to bring the checklist to the interview? Some countires allow it. Go over everything and double check to make sure nothing else. I had heard that NVC is only is to get three trys and anything beyond 3 checklist they are not allowed and the embassy will review.

I hope you don't have to wait for the taxes again. If you fix it and send it in right away that is before the tax filing deadline.

Understand you! I am a Dec 3rd Scan date. I have been seeing more and more Nov 21-26 posting in FB groups etc. A few early Dec ones too. I am just trying to to focus on it Which some days are better than others..lol

Well I also contact congressman to help on an expedited request I did due to pregnancy and financial hardship. He did response with a release of information form. Which I just mailed back. Now I await to see if it makes a difference his intervention. Will keep you post. Nothing hurt to try.
