Hicham do not give up! I hope that other people going through K-3's and I-130's can help you. I wish I could help but I filed an I-129F so I don't want to give you the wrong advice or help. Please do not give up... call the USCIS make an infopass appointment do whatever you need to do to figure out what is going on. Good luck I don't want to see you give up hope! we was have problem with I-130 and it take 2 month to get our NOA1 and now with I-129f we sent it at 10/05/2006 and we wait long time and we not get the NOA1 so we tryed to sent it again on 6/6/2006 and till now we not get card confirmation and money order not cashed yet and all the time the uscis said we must wait 30days but that not fair so i just want to say thank u for evryone help us

my wife and I are applying for the K-3 we are getting ready to send in the I-129F, the questions we have are as follows 1. I the petitioner am planning to leave the USA and move to Morocco with my husband after the I-129F is sent we are thinking i can wait there and my daughter will send the receipt letter to me there then we were thinking that my husband can continue his part of the K-3 there and come back together. 2. What steps do we take after the I-129F is received? 3. What papers do i need to bring with me if this is the route we take will there be any problems in doing it this way?? What do you mean "increase your cahnce of going above 125%"? Either you're above it or you're not.

No, I did not mention getting a second job as proof of extra income. I suggested getting a second job to provide extra income.

Paystubs are proof of income, whatever that income may be. Paystubs do not change the INA requirement that sponsors for immigrant visas or adjustment of status should have an income that exceeds 125% of the poverty level.

Or, she could get a higher-paying job or a second (or third) job. May not be much fun, but it isn't much fun living in poverty, either.

It sounds to me as if the people there in mankato understand perfectly what it means to be a co-sponsor. If someone has a history of low income then a sponsor very well may find themselves being asked to pay something having accepted the moral, if not legal, obligation to do so.

Sorry to say, I will not be surprised if you have bigger problems ahead of you than sponsorship.

Sorry I did not explain myself clearly. I meant that since I recently have extra income can I add that to the AOS form and increase my chance of going above the 125% requirement ?

hi we still waiting for for letter of action for the I-130 but this time they said to my wife they correct the adress and they will send it as soon as they can but the officer told her she not need to send I-129f so we must wait till the 130 approval and make decition so I want to ask how much time the 130 it take to aprroval and if we not go to other steep by I-129 that mean the k3 will take much time or no

So you are waiting on NOA1 for the I-130? and they have told her to now wait another 30 days because they sent it to the wrong address? That sucks Was it their error or did you move? If your wife has only just contacted them and been told to wait 30 days, this is a standard sort of response and hopefully she will receive the NOA well within that time.

NSC forwards I-130's to CSC and that does hold things up a little. You should receive something soon. If you paid by check, has the check been cashed?
