Hubby came in on Saturday. POE was a breeze in Atlanta. He did not even spend 15 minutes. I wanted to share a pic of our reunited family but i dont know how.

My husband has visa in hand. No correction needed. Booking his ticket for this weekend!!!

Kelsilee at this point in time you are bot calli g your embassy. You sbould be calling NVC. Even if your embassy is closed you can still call NVC to check if interview date has been assigned.Do not discourage. Interview dates will continue ro be assigned all of next week. Good luck

Yay!!! Just got the email stating that the passport is ready for pick up. Husband is on his way to pick it up and make sure all the indo on there is correct?????????????

Yesterday morning Passport status changed to "Passport has been received from the consular section, and is currently being processed for delivery." I hope my husband can pick it up today at the DHL location. I want his POE to be tomorrow or Sunday.

Congrats to everyone who received an interview date. And for the ones who have not the day is still young.

I am still claiming an approved visa for you. Based on what you said it's their system that was acting up so every thing onnyour end is good. I am praying that they do not make you wait too long

Here is the review I posted for my hubby's interview:

My husband's interview was on April 26, 2016. This is how he said it went. His appointment was at 8 am. He got there around 7 but they did not let anyone in until 8. He went through security and then he put his phone in locker and then he went into the waiting area. He was called to a window where they asked him for his birth certificate ( copy and original) P.S. he had the "extrait d'archives", they took the marriage certificate and the attestation paper that the judge signed (copy and original), his passport, western union transfer records and picture of us together. He said he was not asked for the police certificate or the new AOS form that I filled or my 2015 tax returns. After he gave the papers they told him to sit down and wait for the CO to call him. when the CO called him, the interview barely lasted 2 minutes. It was a woman who interviewed him. She asked him: who is sending for you? Are you married? When did you get married? Do you have a child? boy or girl? Where are you going to live when you get to USA? Why do you want to go USA. My husband said that she asked the questions very fast. Then she said Congratulations you qualify to go to the USA. Then she gave him two papers one in French one in English telling him congratulations and how to register on the UStraveldocs.com and track the passport. She told him in a week he should have his passport with visa in hand. She returned all the pictures and western union stuff that were submitted to NVC and at the interview. CEAC website already stated that the visa has been printed since yesterday morning. Waiting on the email so I can get a DHL tracking number. Overall it was a very good experience.

On CEAC website, 2 updates: yesterday and today. It looks like they are getting familiar with our case. Praying for quick approval. 3 days 18 hours 20 minutes to go. Anxiety is setting in!

First of all good luck to everyone having interview this week and Congrats to everyone who has been approved in the last weeks. I have a question. My husband's interview in 6 days in Port au Prince Haiti. The time say 8 am. Would it be 8 AM Haiti time or 8 AM the NVC time because Haiti is 1 hour behind.Please advise.

Quick update

My CEAC status says READY now. My documents have reached the US embassy in Haiti today. I called them today to try to get an earlier date. The rep I should get an email with their decision.

I was able to locate the package going to Haiti from Boston. It qas picked up today. I think my documents are in that shipment and it should reach them no later than Tuesday. I used the instruction fuven on vj for DHL tracking. Ine step closer. Good luck everyone

Yay! My status just changed to in Transit. Hopefully they get it next week then i can call an try to get an earlier interview date if possible

Question...for those who elected to file 2015 taxes, what was the approx time frame from mailing that you were able to request transcripts?

Thought it to be quicker to ask and get a response here...

Electronically filed as head of household on Jan 18, received my refund on Feb 10. I think I went online soon after that and requested my transcript and they were already available. I ordered them in the third week of Feb and I received them within 7-10 days.
