Any Office can approve your case. Very often, when the Office you originally filed with gets busy, they can start sending cases out, to any other USCIS Offices to help with backlog. "New" offices can approve the case, or - still re-send it to your local office if the case requires an interview.

My I-485 was approved by Tampa USCIS Office, FL - I live in MO.

Approval of my I-751 came from CSC, not from St. Louis or Kansas-City.

When was your file date for i751? was your case transferred to new office?

Anyone else have case numbers 1727500.....I see a lot of chatter about 1728 but any news on 1727 cases?

    Only some cases were transferred.

Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction

On September 20, 2018, we transferred your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WAC1727500255, to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by October 20, 2018, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Not necessarily.  That would be a very long distance for some.  I highly doubt USCIS would make people travel, hotel, etc just for an interview that is not in their hometown OR state.  More like, your case is cut and dry therefore easy to transfer and they can spend more time going over the more complex ones.

I read that they shipped a bunch to Texas some time ago.  I didn't realize they were still doing it.....well, that is, maybe it takes some time to put plans into action and hence why it took so long for us to see the major transfers take place.

I hope that's the case if most cases are cut and dry and a simple process. That would push for faster approvals...

  4. Heres a sample timeline I saw on a Vermont filer

VERMONT SERVICE CENTER - I-751 ROC

    05/12/17: NOA Date
05/14/17: NOA Arrived in the mail & check cashed

06/22/17: Biometrics Appointment at ASC Manhattan

04/09/18: Online changed to case transferred to local office but no actual letter

06/13/18: Card Being Produced - NO RFE/NO INTERVIEW

06/16/18: Approval Letter arrived in the mail with 06/13/18 approval date

06/18/18: Card was picked up by USPS

06/20/18: Received 10 years Green Card from the mail

case was transferred in April and then 2 months later card being produced no rfe or interview.

  5. Just did an inquiry on USCIS cases and those in the range of WAC1728200100-WAC1728200470 the ones that were transferred to new office on Sept 20th have all been relocated to Texas Service Center. I highly doubt that all cases will be interviewed, that's a lot of cases. Just my opinion tho.

I used https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do to track the cases.

So from my understanding our case is sent to NBC and that’s because they prep our case for interview (that’s what the letter says, that they transfer it to NBC, someone had upload the notice). I was reading what other people were saying. Most of them haven’t update their timelines so I don’t know what happened but they say that this is what it means. Some of them had already apply for citizenship some not.

I remember seeing some transferred to NBC then card being produced. Who knows let’s keep good spirits up and pray for the best
