jg81 got a reaction from Kat&Jon in Approved!
We were approved for our k1 visa in London today . Was a rough one , my fiancée had the first part where they took my affidavit of support and checked my income , then she waited for three hours. Turns out the computers crashed! They were rescheduling it for nov 19th and few hundred people got turned away, luckily the systems came back up right before she left. They were able to finish the interview with an approval .
Thanks for all the help with my annoying questions, but don't worry lll be back when it's time move them over!????????

The London Embassy does allow the visa applicant to self-sponsor though. Meaning that they can fill out their own affidavit and supply their own income and assets, for consideration, without using a USC to file affidavit.

Anyone who is a US Citizen can co-sponsor your petition and doesn't have to be a relative.
