  1. as far i know ,there's no legal way right now to buy this big amount of dollars.your only bet is the black market .

also i believe -even if you exchanged them to USD- its way harder to transfer those money out of the country right now. but if you have account in any egyptian bank ,try to ask them.

another idea, if you could exchange them ,let any one coming to the states that you trust to bring them (10.000 USD for each passenger ). its not the best option but you dont have many options anyway.

another idea, see if you can buy gold worth of the egyptian money and get it shipped to you then sell the gold there.

How can I ship the gold to US?

PS: I like your profile pic

  2. Check out transferwise

it does not work for Egypt, thanks though

The last I heard no money can be sent OUT of Egypt unless its through a bank to bank wire transfer. I would contact the Egyptian Embassy here in the USA and ask what your options would be, without giving your personal information.

    Good Luck.

i will try to contact the Egyptian Embassy, thanks a lot

  3. Hello,

Some of my friends living in the U.S warned me about giving out my SSN to job recruiters .... especially that i'm still living in my homeland out of the U.S.

my question here is: is it truly risky to provide them with such info? & what if I should get a final job offer, would it be risky then too?!!

    thanks in advance!

  4. Me, my husband, and my son travelled back to our origin country after staying in USA for 2 months and getting our Green cards.

We heard that if we stayed more than 6 months outside US we might face some problems getting in again, and we must prof that we have any assets like (home, car, bank account, running business .. etc) to get in without problems.

My question here, is that true or not and what if my husband go to US before 6 months, then me and my son follow him after 9 or 10 months to have a chance to set a home and secure a job.

  5. 30k dollars

Difficult for you to find a job

    Want to explore America

Improve your English by maximum interaction

    Understand culture

I can see all of them going through one crazy thing, to buy you a decent car and work for Uber with it
you will not use all your money, will travel whenever you want and work there with your own car, you will interact a lot with the passengers so you can improve your english and know about their cultures.

But on the other hand, don’t except that much of income, you can just consider it as a temp job till you are on a solid ground.

  6. Hello,

Our plan, should we pass the interview, is to travel to the US, get our green cards, return to our country then move to the US within 6 or 8 months.

My first question here is: if the CO asks about our plan, will telling them our actual plan affect the result of the interview? or should we tell them that we’re just planning to settle there as soon as we arrive?

Second question: when we return to our country with the green cards after our first visit to the US, will my husband be allowed to enter the US if I’m not travelling with him as I am the principal applicant? Or am I obligated to be in the US for him to be allowed inside the country?

    thanks in advance.

  7. Hello,

My husband and I are planning to enter the US, get our plastic green cards, go back to Egypt, and then return to US after 6 or 8 months.

My husband will be allowed only one month off from his work, and I’m afraid that we won’t receive our green cards by the end of that month, my question here is, as I am the principal applicant, will I be able to receive my husband’s green card on his behalf if he had to go back to Egypt after a month?

    sincerely,
