  1. I was touched after NOA2 also......However, they told me I was sent on to NVC on July 18 and I was not received at NVC until July 2. I think what they mean to say is "As of XX day, you are queued to be sent to NVC".

In this case I hope you're wrong Vis! LOL...The guy told me it had left the building so I wouldn't think they'd say that unless it was true? Ah who knows...if it left the building how can I get a touch right? But I've seen that on other people timelines, getting touched after being sent, so screw it, bottom line there is more waiting...

  2. So I'm trying to get ahead and have my fiance fill out the things necessary to send for Packet 3, and on the checklist I have one question (I know they are different depending on the country, but someone must know), do I put a check next to this one or not:

Beneficiaries of family-sponsored petitions must also include:

Proof of Relationship: Please provide all original documents used to establish the qualifying family relationship.

Is this considered a family-sponsored petition?? If it's not, there is no box to check for evidence to bring for proof of relationship even though it's something I know is needed...please let me know.

    Thanks.

  3. Not sure if the touches are a record, but I'm sure you now probably have a record for most new threads on VJ! LOL, everyday I see like 3 new threads from you!

All joking aside, I'm sure your case is probably already approved and on it's way somewhere (NVC or maybe even the embassy!). Just sucks that for some people, such as yourself, CSC seems to have no idea what is going on. Just hang in there, I'm sure it will all work out for you.

  4. Already thought of another question for you Mark...on the US embassy Thailand website I found that it says official documents (birth certificate, police certificate, etc.) can be in English OR Thai. So does this mean my fiance doesn't need to get those translated at all for when she brings them to the embassy for the interview?

  5. Mark, you are a life saver, I'm printing your above post, the info you listed is exactly what I wanted to know! I finally checked out the US embassy website for Thailand too, and you're right there is a lot of good info on there.

Anyway, I'll be sure to post on here again if I have anymore questions along the way, thanks again.

  6. Ok, so just to be completely clear, this is exactly what you sent:

    1) Signed checklist

    2) Form DS-230

    3) 2 passport photos (of only the beneficiary or petitioner too?)

    4) Copy of BOTH yours and beneficiaries passport photo page.

And this is what contituted packet 3? Everything is just filled out and brought to the interview?

  7. Hi guys,

I'm sure the answer to my question is somewhere in here, but I couldn't be bothered to go through 133 pages posts. I noticed a lot of you on your timeline sent in packet 3 before the embassy even got a chance to send packet 3 to your fiance. Can someone let me know the exact list of things that need to be sent? I'd definitely like to try to do the same and send everything to them before they even send the packet so we can get the earliest interview date possible.

    Thanks.
