you are like me! love it! I make copies of everything. I have a file for myself, I have a made up file for him, and a file that he will take for his interview. I just came back from CVS pharmacy making an album of pictures for him. I'm actually kindof jealous sending it because it looks nice lol. I am getting last minute docs together for him tonight to mail off tomorrow. he will start doing his part this upcoming week. I am hoping we have everything done by late January early February.

so I went to the IRS website to request my tax account transcript and it is not allowing me to register so as to be able to do it... any thoughts? Can i simply make a copy of my 2013 W-2 as more evidence for I134 affadavit of support?

marita same thing here. got my hard copy of letter from NVC today stating will forward case(which embassy has had it since Monday) NVC is on their game. Sorry for the comment above still waiting for you receipt of case to NVC.... hopefully it gets resolved soon. This nightmare for all of us will be over soon!

very surprised that nvc sent me letter stating they forwarded fiancés petition. fiancés petition arrived at embassy on Monday so, nvc corresponds in a timely manner

Ghana VJ members. My fiancé needs to get a police certificate from ghana. He lives in UK. What is the time frame it will take to get it? The embassy is waiting to interview us but we need that certificate . I told him he should have requested it in September ...

Oh my goodness... I hope not that long. I would be so mad at him as I told him to request it in September

go to ceac.state.gov then, where it says immigrant visa go to check my case status then put number in and it should pop up

alrighty. So, once my fiance fills out his DS160, does his medical and he submits his readiness form, then they will set his appt? The only thing that frustrates me is he has to get his police certificate from Ghana.... he still has to request it. He will go to the embassy in London to request it. not sure how that works..

How long does it take the beneficiary to get their letter (packet 3)?

yep same here. ALthough I am a nurse I am also continuing my education so funds will be tight. My fiance is a pharmacist in the UK so until he finishes all his transitions ect ect we will be poor lol

Yes we will do an I864 once our fiance's get to the states and we apply for their adjustment of status . I know for the initial K1 a sponsor or joint sponsor can be used but AOs I am not sure ... I'm sure you can find it on VJ somewhere in adjustment of status forum or something

Everything is case by case basis but for our K1 it took us three weeks to be put into the system at CVS. usually 2-3 weeks is normal processing time. With an increased number of petitions at the NVC both K1 and CR1 they are experiencing like the service centers work overload. Try to be patient and call them after two weeks of your NOA2 being approved. I have never attempted to call in the am but around 930pm I call and luckily get through with about a 25-30 minute wait time. They are very nice. I have spoken with #### two occasions and he was very kind and helpful.

I have yet to receive notification from NVC and my case is now in transit to the embassy. Don't wait for that to come, I would call the NVC to get your case number and go by that. The NVC is particularly slow in getting the letters out but they will come.

well I found out on the 13th they shipped it to the embassy so it is on its way and on CEAC it reflects that now.

I read for London they will set the appt once all necessary forms are submitted. It is confusing I wish they would update things. Hope all is well with you guys!

Hi all quick question. So, my case on ceac website was just updated to in transit to consular section and says an interview date was provided by the NVC... I did not know NVC selects interview dates for K1's please help as neither myself nor my fiancé have received emails or mail regarding The said interview date
