  1. I got my 130 after he was deported. There was no reasons, but the 3 deportations.  After he had been deported, I hired a lawyer.  I filed the paper in early 2014, I had to get his immigration records.  He is 48.  He to US when he was 17.  He got deported twice before I met him in 2004.  The reason they didn’t approve my waivers is because I could not prove hardship.  His punishment was 10 years out of country.  What I asking is if I can use the same lawyer in US that I used first time?  Do you have to use a lawyer in his country?

  2. I hired a lawyer in the US to get my husband back home. We have been married for 10 years.  On August 13, it will be 10 years since he has been in Honduras.  I have an approved 130 from 2013 which is still active.  He got deported in 2013.  That was his 3rd deportation.   I filed a 212 wavier and 601 in 2014.  It was denied, but they changed his 20 year bar to 10 years. I think the only reason he did not get permanent bar because of our relationship.  We have been together almost 20 years.  I have been to Honduras over 19 times.  I have probably spent easily over 100 thousand on going there and sending money.

Everything I come it is more dangerous than the last.

  3. My husband has been in Honduras for almost 10 years.  He was given a 20 year ban in 2013.  I filed a 601 and and 212 waiver in 2014.  In 2015, it was reduced to 10 years.  Can I fill paperwork now?  We have been together for 19 years and married for 10.  Also, can I file the paperwork for him.  I have been supporting him for 10 years and have been to Honduras over 18 years. I have his signature on paperwork.  I don’t know what paperwork to file.  Plus they don’t have mail in his town.  What should I do?

  4. We attended an consulate interview in 2014 in his country and he was denied entry back into US.  I consulted a lawyer in 2015 and sent a 212 and visa paperwork.  I tried to get him back with medical and extreme hardship if I had to live in his country.  I work in the medical field and don’t speak the language.  They sent a denial letter back and a 10 year ban.

  5. I met my husband in 2004.  He had been deported 2 times before we met.  In 2013, he got deported back his country.  We got married about a month before he left.  I started our visa journey sending off paperwork.  I went to immigration interview and was able to show proof of our relationship.  I sent off visa paperwork.  They said he had to spend 10 years in his country.  He has been in Honduras for almost 10 years.  I have been here over 17 times each time spending 3 to 4 weeks at a time.  Also, I have been supporting him for these years.  What are his chances of coming back?  I did all the paperwork the first time by myself.  Should I hire an attorney?

  6. I do have a lawyer involved. We went over all of his history before I sent everything off and filled out the visa. I have started working on the waivers. I have almost finished my hardship letter. I am going to his interview in Honduras. I am scared that he won't be offered any waivers. I guess that is why I am hesitant to start working on the waivers. I don't want to spend a ton of money on lawyer fees. If I am offered these waivers I will hire one. Everything I have learned about the immigration process is reading books and reading forums. I would appreciate any advice I can get.

His last deportation was August 30, 2014.

  7. I sent off for FOIA and and then got every police report sent to me where he had been picked up. I filled out the visa application with the help of an attorney.

  8. I have a lawyer that helped me fill out the questions that I was unsure about. If I am offered the waivers, I am going to get him to help me fill them out. My husband does not have any felonies. The only thing that he has against him is entering the country illegally. My lawyer says that I have a very good chance at waivers because of my health. I can show proof of all of my hardships. What is a 9c?

  9. I am currently waiting on my interview date for Honduras. My case was closed by NVC on June 23rd. My husband has had 3 deportations and has a 20 year ban. I have been to Honduas 3 times and have been sending him money for 2 years. I was involved in a major vehicle accident which has affected my work and I now have a handicap license. I have 2 doctor notes explaining my health. We have been together for 11 years and married for 2 years. I am going to Honduras for the interview. Should I bring all my letters from the doctors and I will I will able to move to the front of the line with my handicap license? I am praying that we get a waiver. Do my chances look better since my health has declined so much in the past year? Also where is a good place to stay in Honduras by the embassey? We plan on staying for a few days is there anything to see? How much money should I send him for the medical exam? I have done all of the paperwork myself and don't want to mess anything up. Will there interview me too or just him? I know I have asked a lot of questions but if anyone has an answers I would greatly appreciate it.

  10. He has been deported 3 times. The first time in 1996, 2002, and 2013. In 1996, they just shipped him back. He did not have any kind of bar against him. In 2002, they reinstated the previous bar. In 2013, he was given a 20 year bar. Everything he has been picked up for were misdemeanors. We were married while he was in detention. It was approved by immigration. I got his FOIA file which had lots of errors. I have gotten the paperwork to prove them. We have been together 11 years. We got an approved 130 and I am about to fill out his visa application. When I was at my interview the lady told me that there were waivers available. Should I just send all the documentation that I have? One of the pieces of paper said that he has a felony, but I have a letter that he was never charged. I plan to go with him to his interview in Honduras and see how e

  11. My husband and I are in the process of filling out his visa application. He has been deported 3 times. His last deportation being August 2013. I know we will have to file waivers in order to get him back. Do you go to the interview and get denied and then fill out the waivers? I don't want to spend all the money if he is not even eligible for a waiver. My lawyer said that he has a great chance of coming back if they say we can fill waivers.

  12. My husband and I are in the process of trying to get a visa and interview. I paid the AOS fee and mailed off my i864. After doing that I filled out the DS 261. I went back online for the invoice and his name is not there. The same day I got an email about paying for his visa. The email also said if you are planning to file an adjustment of status don't do anything email the NVC first. What does that man I know it will take them forever to respond to my email? Does that mean we won't get a chance for a interview. My husband lives in Honduras. Any I go will help.

  13. My husband was deported in August 2013. I got an approved I-130 on May 21, 2014. The lady at immigration said that there were 2 waivers available. I got my paperwork in the mail from the NVC. It said that if you need to adjust status to contact them. Do I go to the interview and get denied or do I go ahead and file the waivers? I am lost on what to do. Also, if I file the waivers where do I send them? I know he has a good chance of coming back due to all my medical conditions and the work that I do. Can anyone please help me and if you have the name of a good lawyer let me know. Thanks.

  14. I have an approved 1-30 for my husband who was deported in Honduras in August 2013. I got my paperwork from the NVC to make payment. It says not make any payment until you contact the NVC if he is adjusting status. I know my husband will get denied at the embassy. When do you fill out the waivers?

Do you file them now or wait till you get denied? I know he will get approved for extreme hardship on multiplies things. Also I need to file the 212. When do you file these and what address do they go to. Anyone know any good lawyers that can help with waivers. He has a 20 year ban. The lady when I did my interview said it looked like he could come back with those waivers. Anyone know a good lawyer that specializes in waivers. This is starting to get a little complicated. Thanks.
