They should let people bring their checklist to the interview if it's a minor issue like not writing n/a in the residential address lines :(

If only I had known that I'd be going through this process, I would have seriously considered applying at NVC. Btw you should call back and be like this rep earlier told me there was an update on my case and then the call dropped, can you please tell me what it is?
At first they denied reviewing my papers too, I called back and said the rep said I had an update and then the second rep just gave away all the details! Try it seriously

I deactivated my account, since i was getting fed up with all my friends and their spouses tagging themselves in on random adventures and all the pictures. I know I should be happy for people, and I am, but it's very hard to sit by and watch it all. Just to avoid my negativity towards others, I thought it'll be best to just walk away and what you don't see can't hurt you, that's the logic I'll stick to.
Made a huge difference, I was much happier today.

Well last night I was thinking out this whole scenario. NVC started implementing the 60 day thing mid July and I think they delayed a lot of the invoices then too, which could have caused lesser packages to be mailed....since people kept on waiting for the invoices to become available prior to sending out the package.
So maybe they are getting through to the review faster because less packages were received
Ok I need to clearly stop this imagination of mine, the only true explanation could be that the workers are finally awake and are actually getting some work done.

I got the mail about three weeks ago for my husband. It was sent to my address but had his name and all the case info. It was a very vague one saying either the mailing/email address has changed so I called them up. The first rep said something had changed back in June and now I'm getting the mail in August. Which didn't make any sense so I spoke with another rep and she said maybe my husband was mailed out a letter and then a confirmation of his address came back. Hubby did receive a letter from them in June, so she said sometimes when they confirm the address in another country, they update the address on file. She also said it could be a slight update of a comma or dash; based on the forms we fill out. She said I can't really say what the reason was, but she said it wasn't really sufficient. So just call and confirm the addresses they have and if they are correct then you're good to go.

My friends scan date for AOS was July 21st and it was reviewed and accepted today. Seems like they're moving along!

My scan date is July 24th, I'm not sure if I should bother calling them yet. Seems like they're on July 18th for now.

Yes it's very difficult. My husband is in Pakistan and he has literally stopped eating and socializing with people. I can't visit him often due to my work

Yes I did the same thing too. I sent mine before my IV invoice came along. I sent it to attn: DR as well with the AOS coversheet...but later when the fee was invoiced the address was CMR but the rep told me it doesn't matter. Either way they will have it in their system.

There's a group called visa journey on Facebook, look it up and request to be added in...it usually takes up to a day to get in.
Sadly that's how it goes nowadays
