I was hoping they were on the 7th already and somehow they get to aug 15th by the end of this week so they can give me a CC and schedule the interview as well.

Yes I put my current annual salary for the year 2014, which matched the employment letter I received stating what my annual income was. You do not use the 2013 tax return income.
Edit: my AOS didn't have a checklist for that, it was accepted but I forgot to put n/a in the blank fields which caused a checklist. So please make sure to mark n/a for blank fields.

The NVC checklisted my friend saying all of her originals in the IV package were copies! She spoke with reps over and over again...she even put in a supervisors request and today she spoke with supervisor Betsy who also confirmed that they were copies and not originals!
What is happening to NVC? Why are they acting like such lunatics! She's obviously devestated and I don't know how to comfort her
Fellow VJrs please make a small prayer on her behalf that some sense prevails into the heads of NVC workers and they stop mistreating people like this.

I thought US had the best justice system in the world, then why are all of us being treated such unfairly. People with connections are getting their case completed early, yet the ones who chose to take the "prescribed" path are being mistreated.
I had a panic attack last night and couldn't stop crying, my poor hubby stayed on the phone with me until I felt better. He basically stayed up all night to comfort me. I sometimes feel sorry for him and I start thinking that it's all my fault for putting him through this.
Sometimes I feel I'm being selfish for staying here and leaving him all alone and other times I rationalize it thinking it's only a matter of time and it'll be better for me to stay here and work as much, just so we both don't have to build our lives from scratch again.
All of this is just a mess. I want to be positive, yet I become my own biggest critic.

Thank you soloenta and EOC! You two really are the troopers of this whole process. You guys have been through so much and yet are so positive!

Yea supervisor Sylvia unlocked my IV fees after like 60 something days and then supervisor Ike helped me with my marriage certificate.
Sylvia is usually there in the mornings and Ike is in the evening, around 4 to 5 PM.
Yea I think it depends on the supervisors. Supervisor Ike helped me with mine, he sounded very nice and calm. He was very professional and although he asked me to wait the entire week, he literally had it sorted by the next business day.

I feel all left out now cuz I didn't get it my AOS checklist scan date is aug 15th.

I'm so sorry soloenta! This is complete torture! I can't believe NVC is taking such a simple matter to such an extent! This just broke my heart seriously!
Please stay strong! Don't give up nor lose your hope! InshAllah This will all be resolved. I know it must be very hard, but please keep calling them until they let you speak to a supervisor. Don't give up! You need to collect all your strength and keep your head up!

I would call NVC back and ask to speak with a supervisor, I think the link is not working because your DS-261 is showing as incomplete.
They can probably fix that at their end and edit it to show completed. Speak with a supervisor and tell them how it has been 3-4 business days and the link is still not working plus the incomplete on DS-261.
My DS-260 was available to start as soon as the IV fees showed paid, I didn't have to wait 3-4 business days and I don't think anyone else did either.

Oh and VJ should have a live streaming feature, where all of us can sit around and talk it all out....that way we'll have a recollection of what we said and did the entire day!! :rofl:

If only I had known that I'd be going through this process, I would have seriously considered applying at NVC. Btw you should call back and be like this rep earlier told me there was an update on my case and then the call dropped, can you please tell me what it is?
