Hi guys I just want to know if whats AKA on the nbi clearance? And also my nbi has the "no derogatory record on file" remarks u think guys I will have problem with that? Help please my interview will be next week

Can anybody tell me what these immigrant visa application part 1 and part 2 stated in the interview and instruction letter? I already received an appointment letter from NVC and it has a list of documents to bring to the interview. One of these documents is the one mentioned in the topic title above. Does this refer to the DS261 and DS260 we filled out online?

Just sent me an email on what documents to bring birth certificate,marriage certificate, nbi and DS260, on my instruction letter it says YOU SUBMITTED tHIs FORM ONLINE same to u too?

Same as mine the NVC also sent me that kind of instruction letter to bring to interview, I think the visa app is the ds260, I was also confuse before about it but the embassy sent us email. When's ur interview anyways?

hi..same here. what are the Immigrant Visa application Part I and Part II here? I filled it online ( DS260) but there were no Part i or ii there. So how was I suppose to now which is which?

Yeah i got my visa too last august! But im still here in Manila. My flight is next week, January 7. I just had to spend the xmas and new year with family. Next week is a different life as i will be married with the love of my life!

Thanks for the tips, will be honest come AOS! Will say yes on the drug thing and and explain that it was purely experimental. I bet the USEM would have denied me in the first place if they thought that i wont be able to pass future tests.

Everything went well and I recieved my visa last august 26,2014 and flew to Colorado last Sept 27. I am about to have AOS interview soon.

I will let you know how it goes on my interview. Im scheduled for the next week. I also admitted a previous drug use and got very depressed after knowing that i might get denied from previous mistakes in life. I got over it and practiced all the possible questions for the actual interview instead. There are questions like fiance's work place, his mom's age, bday and stuff that I didnt think will be ask. So know all your fiance's details before the date of interview. Prepared all the papers and scrapbooks. Be confident , smile and be positive. I am also praying that everything goes well and I will pray that everything goes well for you too. Lets think about the future with our fiances, not the negative side. Focus during the interview. Yes we are.

I submitted our I130 in June 2014, so if we have the same time wait as you (10 months)we may have to wait until March / April to have interview. Not much we can do but be patient and wait.

All I remembered what the psychiatric told me that Im fine with the evaluation,and if something went wrong she will give me another evaluation,but only 1 time, u think I'm fine? But they still going to put the result about the evaluation on my medical result right?

Interview with the consul was super casual. She never asked me about thos things. But i know that she browsed thru everything including the psychs evaluation.

Make sure you create a good impression from the psychiatrist and be honest because psychologists have indicators if a person is lying. And if he catches you, the negative evaluation can be taken against you come interview time.

I will say yes and just provide an explanation. I know that the evaluation of the psychologist was good because i have a friend who works at st lukes and has access to every patients database. Accdg to her, evaluation was "Applicants use of cannabis does not fit the criteria of substance disorder"

But still i admitted of puffing once and that is enough to be considered a drug offense. I bet yes is the best answer and provide an explanation (explain what happened). I know USCIS has my medical files so they can verify the psychs evaluation.

Im just really hoping for the best. I really dont want to lie coz thats good as suicide.

Hi JOUI when u had the interview did the consul ask about the drugs? Did they ever ask about it or saw on ur file about the evaluation?

All I know he started applied my petition February 2014,and after a long wait finally the NVC completed our case on November then scheduled the interview, r u still in process for cr1?

Been reading this thread and I admitted to st.lukes doctor that I smoked marijuana before , they told me to come back after 2 days for personal evaluation then after the evaluatiom with psychiatric she said Im done and fine and I called the slec after 4days to know the result about the evaluation and its done and will go back next weak for shots and result, my interview will be on January 14 I hope everything goes well.. Pray for me guys that I'll get approve?
