~~ Once again, a duplicate thread has been removed. Do NOT start new threads asking same or related questions, it is spamming ~~

it says clearly to place this green letter on top of a new filing package. Additionally, people have advised you previously to include it when you re-file.

Thank you. I must have missed it! Really truly appreciate everyones responses!

  2. what does this mean?

“please review the relevant form instructions to determine if your new filing can be considered as timely filed.”

I also got a green sheet of paper that says:

(System wont let me attach a photo)

“We have rejected your benefit request for the reasons indicated on Form I-797C, Notice of Action. Your rejected benefit request will not retain a filing date. You may resubmit your benefit request as a new filing if you are able to correct the issue that caused the rejection.

If you do file the benefit request again, please note the following:

    - since your submission was rejected, it is not yet considered properly filed.

    - you must meet all requirements as of the date of the nee filing.
    - please review the relevant form instructions to determine if your new filing can be considered as timely filed.

If you do submit your benefit request again, please enclose this letter with your submission.

Place this letter on top of your new filing package”

There is a total of 17 (seventeen) spots where family name has to be listed on I-129F form. Any of the 17 could have been left blank. Best guess - check latter pages, where it's talking about use of interpreter and such.

Not a single spot on the entire form may be blank.

Yes i have checked. Nothing is left blank and fields are correctly filled.

Why does your first name change on 6b, 6c, 7b, 7a? Basically, is Damla your middle or first name?

Is this within your culture? Maybe this is why they're confused. I've never seen a case where a first name changes, unless you had a complete name change.

Its an official name change. My parents did so when i was a child. This is not my first time i have filled petitions. I have filed i130 and n400 for myself and i130 sponsoring my mom. I have always filed like this because i have an offical name change document and never came across an issue with it. Also, i provided my name change document with my current perition

  5. Hi all,

I applied for i-129f and received a rejection notice, but I believe it is an error; what should I do!?!

I prepared the i-129f. I mailed it with a cover letter, bank check and all necessary documents. My packet was delivered on June 27th. It was processed the same day. About a week later, got a rejection notice with the entire packet returned with instructions to refile completely and correctly. I attached the rejection notice and first page of thee petition (this page was rejected) here. It says a section was not completed, my family name, on page 1 of the petition. I am going crazy because I have not left blank my last name, given name or middle name nor did i misspell the names on the petition. I am so confused. What do i do?

can’t even call and speak to a representative about the matter. I emailed uscis to inquire, but no response yet. I am afraid if i reapply again exactly the same (because there is no error with names/spelling of names) that i may be rejected again. If anyone has any advice i would appreciate it.

  6. Hey all,

My friend needs help. Her interview was on March 20th at Montreal. She was approved. She got the welcome letter and everything. She flew back to Vancouver and since has been waiting for her visa packet and passport. Its been almost 2 months. She has called NVC numerous times and she has been told her visa has not been approved and her case is at 'administrative processing'. Has anyone ever heard of such case where visa is approved at interview, however case is at administrative processing?

Poor girl is stressed and worried. She cant even travel anywhere because she doesn't have her passport  please please reply your thoughts or refer me to another thread where I may be able to get answers. Thanks in advance and good luck to you all!

  9. Hey all,

My visa was approved on Friday, Feb 20th. Just got an e-mail from Loomis with tracking. Will call Loomis in the morning to see if package and passport are ready for pick-up. I need help. Didn't know where else to post and looked all over on the site for some insight...

Tickets to from Montreal to NY are ridiculous right now like $700+ per person. I wanted to get advise on traveling by land for POE. Hubby and I were thinking of renting a car. I have 3 luggages and my husband has 1. Luggages have clothes, personal items like deodorant, perfume, makeup, hair dryer, etc. and a few kitchen items like cutlery set, bowls, cups...Will having these items in our luggage be a problem? I am freaking out right now lol any insight would be highly appreciated! thanks in advance!!!

  12. I am so upset I booked my appointment for my medical and the lady schedule my medical for the 16th of March and my interview is 23rd. Isn't that too short of a time? According to her it's fine but I think not should I call back a demand a earlier date? Or is it sufficient time?

It should be fine. They will make sure to have your medical packet ready for pick up before your interview. My packet was ready for pick up the next day.
