  1. Hi, x-racer so you mean you got your case complete on December 2nd and your appointment letter on December 12 then now your package is on the way to the embassy in manila right

Sorry, I missed my CC date...it was 11-24. I called the NVC on the 2nd and got the confirmation that the case was completed. I recieved my interview letter on the 4th for our interview scheduled on the 14th of January.

Packet is now on the way to the embassy. I am very thankful the interview date is just late enough in Jan to allow the ticket prices to drop to normal. I will get to be with my wife when she goes! Yea!

  2. hello x racer... when did your case complete ? got mine november 10 but till now we dont have interview yet and even confirmation email for case complete...its been more than two weeks...btw, congrats :)

CC on Nov 24th. Hoping iterview pushes back to January so I can afford to go.

  3. Hi, i was just wondering how you made it through NVC so fast

I can't say eactly how it went so fast, but I will say that we had no issues to hold us up. No prior marriages, no kids, no criminal records, I had all the paper work ready to go and was able to use the ez 864 form.

I think the process is speeding up at this point. I've noticed the IV packets processing in 30 days or less lately.

I also had VJ to help me the whole way! Lol. Seriously, it saved my ####### more than once. Thanks for all the great info.

  4. I just received my CC for my wife (yea!) and am waiting to get the interview date. I've seen most dates 30 days, give or take, from case complete. That would put us right smack in the middle of Christmas.

I'll know in a few days, hopefully, when the date is assigned, but was wondering if anybody could tell me if Manila embassy schedules interviews late in December, or just waits till January to start back up?

I was really hoping to be there with my wife, but travel at that time is just too expensive to justify going. :(

  5. I'll second eieio's resposne, for the most part.

I was also a lifelong bachelor and had tried bars, friends and local dating sites like Match and E-harm with fairly bad results. I have seen shows on Russian/Asian/Latino dating and had been curious for quite some time. A discussion one day at work led to me clicking on an asian dating site to see. My wife picked me out on the 2nd day and it has been nothing but smiles since.

The transition for a filipina is easier to an American lifestyle because the cultures are not that dramatically different, as well as the tremendous use of english in the Philippines. I found most women to be more traditional in their attitudes...not to say submissive either, but consirvative in their social life.

I had met sooooooooo many american women that are brash, nasty acting and spoiled. I heard a lot of "what do you have for me" in my attempts at dating. I even had one tell me about the large custom house she was going to insist on having....during our first date.

I can't speak for all, but I entered this a bit under prepared. Once I started seriously thinking of dating someone from the Philippines, I began learning all I could about the culture, history, language and customs of the country. I have fallen in love with the people of the most beautiful place I have ever had the privilage of getting to visit and can't wait to return. The whole epierence of meeting and marrying my wonderful wife has changed me forever into a better person. I am just waiting for that day she can walk through the dor of our house, here with me.

  6. No 60 day wait letter on the IV package. I did receive one on the AOS packet I sent in early Sept, but the 60 day review has come and gone...at 68 days now and noe RFE even for a false checklist for the IV packet whick I didn't get sent in until Nov 6. I have been fully waiting and even expecting a false RFE for the second packet because of the delay sending it, but I'm hoping the two joined up together and are in the process of being reviewed now.

crossing my fingers, toes, arms, hands, eyes.............

    lol

  7. My wife is a teacher and receives an annual health screening which includes an x-ray for TB. She will be getting her records from the Dept of Ed soon and taking them with her to the St. Lukes medical eam.

I was wondering if others had any expierence with this and if it is as big of a help as I am thinking it will be? Hoping to avoid any questionable extra tests by SLMC.

    Thanks in advance!

  8. X racer you are so Lucky i am glad for you ... Can you tell me when did you start your process ? Because since the i 130 went to lock box Chicago we got Nothing back ...

I am summing we ll received the NOA 1 straight up but when?!? (Because we did not sent the g 1145) If there Is something Wrong or missing, are there Quick or not to let you Know ?

At least i want to be approuve and get a tracking number and i ll be relief to wait....lol[/quotL]

Lera66 - I sent in my I-130 on July 16 and it was recieved on July18. I see yours made it there on July 23 so if your application goes as quick as mine, I would think you should see someting next week.

    good luck!

  9. Congrats to others receiving their NOA2's.

24 Hours after seeing the message change on the case status to "there has been an address change relating to your I130" I now get my approved message!

On August 7, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN.

Just 3 weeks from NOA1 to NOA2. Realize also, that my wife is from the Philippines, we have no previous marriages, no children and no legal hurdles to slow our processing down. Couple that with the expiditing of Philippine cases and this may go quicker than I even thougt.

Best of luck and wishes for all.

  10. Ii have noticed a change on my case status on the USCIS website! It now says "On Aug 6, 2014 Your address regarding you I-130 has been changed"

I am trying to find the post I have seen regarding this message. I believe it may possibly mean the 130 has been reviewed and accepted and is moving on to the NVC. Either that or it has been transfered to another service center. Any ideas?

Have any other July filers noticed this message?
