  1. Hi There,

I never received a status or letter saying about an interview, I called today to USCIS and they told me my Case was Approved without interview.

    My Petition date is 12/14/2015

Im a USC and my Wife is a Legal Permanent Resident....

I haven't receive any lettler or card yet in the mail... We asked too for the I-765 to get SSN only for IRS purposes but still waiting for the cards... At least we know everything is approved....

How about you, how's your case going?

Thank you for answering my questions!

The petition date of my daughter's case is Dec. 1st, and it's still waiting for interview to be scheduled from Jan. 6th, the day we learned the case is ready to be scheduled..

I thought we might have a chance to skip the interview 'cause she's just a baby, but guess we'll just have to wait and see....

  2. Hi Guys,

I'm pretty glad because i'm seeing a lot of approvals (EAD)... My daughter got her approval last Feb 29 and today we received the official letter, my only concern is, Today at 6.35pm received a text that my I-485 and I-130 were approved... (This is an AOS for my daughter who is a minor) I'm wondering if is something wrong because we thought the next step was the interview....

Do they interview minors? Or not.... I don't know if I should be happy or not hahahaha just wanted to make sure this is real before telling her something.

    What do you guys think?

    Congrats!!!!!

My daughter is 14 months old and still waiting for her interview to be scheduled.....

    Question:

    1. Had you ever received the notice indicated that "case is ready to be scheduled for an interview"?

    2. When is your petition date?

Thank you very much, once again, BIG CONGRATULATION!!!!

  3. Just learned my daughter's AP was approved yesterday.

But we considered this is not really a good news though, it certainly implies that we still have to wait for the interview, not direct GC approval without interview.

Ha, look at the bright side, at least it's rolling!

    NOA1 Dec. 1 (I-130, I-131 and I-485)

    Ready to Schedule Jan. 6

    Bio. Jan. 8

    I-131 Approval Notice Feb. 17

  4. My wife filed AOS and I-130 for our then ten month old daughter, and the USCIS received the case on DEC. 1.

Afterwards, we'd been informed that our daughter will have to attend the Biometrics appointment on this Friday (Jan. 8).

And minutes ago, I saw our daughter's I-485 case status has changed and indicated that "Case is ready to be Scheduled for an Interview."

Don't know if this is a good sign or on the opposite....

  5. Sorry I didn’t provide the info of my case to be added to the spreadsheet.

But I’d received the interview letter from NVC couple of days ago, so I wanna share this joy with you all good people. Hope this info could help and you guys could get your case CC sooner than “ASAP”!!!

    SD: May 14th, 2015

CC: unknown (I didn’t ask, because I’d hired a consultant to do the work)

    Interview schedule: June 25th, 2015

    Interview date: August 25th, 2015

  6. Are you sure about your wife does not meet the CRBA??? Read carfully....:

"The U.S. citizen parent had been physically present in the U.S. or its territories for a period of at least five years at some time in his or her life prior to the birth, of which at least two years were after his or her 14th birthday."

She just has had to lived in the US at least 5 years of her life, and 2 of those years before age 14. I hope this helps. Good luck!

Sadly, yes, we’re sure. We had calculated more than three times, she still needs probably 100 days to reach the five years mark…

  7. My I-130 had been approved by USCIS and the application had been forwarded to NVC couple of months ago, and during this period of time, our daughter was born last month, but not in US. We’d like to know what the option is if we’re going to bring her to the US afterwards.

The sure thing is that my wife (USC) didn’t meet the requirement of filing Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) because her physical presence in the US is less than 5 years after reaching age 14, so she might not be qualified to file CRBA for my daughter.

I know it may sound odd, but is there any chance that my daughter could obtain her immigrant visa by adding her into my CR1 case? Or my wife must file a CR2 for my daughter separately? Since we manage to bring my daughter to the US right after I obtain my visa though.

    Thanks in advance!!
