Or maybe they will process cases that are in sanaa in Egypt this month and until April they will process the ones that are in NVC. Ιм not sure but I wish we can get a straight
-
Maybe the cases in sanaa will be processed in Aden and the ones that are still in NVC will be processed in Egypt.
-
That's weird I heard on the news that it will be in Aden
Because the president of yemen is there
-
If they put it in Jordan let's just say, then anyone who has an interview can go there?
-
IF every one send massege to Foreign Ministry American.
and solve our porblem. I think will help us.
WE have over 80 suport. But we need more.
to every one.IS not Necessary to sign the correct name . I THINK. Any name will be fine
All the embassies In yemen are already closed... How are our spouse be able to go to Jordan or some place else??
-
Is it possible to transfer the case to another country since the embassy is closed?
I don't think so because every embassy is closed now in yemen unless the person you applying for can travel somewhere else already
-
Yes i know, but they say that it takes the same amount for yemenis, but i will file and try my luck.
Inshallah It will work better and faster... You never know...let us know how it goes
-
Yes they can, but you have to file first the i/130. as soon as you get the notice of action letter which takes 30 days after filing the 1/30, you can file for a k/3 visa. If the i/130 reaches the nvc first then the k/3 is not void anymore.

That's sounds really good... I wish I knew before my case went to nvc... Then they would have to go to any embassy until they come in..

So when you apply the k3 visa, then they can come in America and continue it here? Rather than just wait? Ιme confused but that sound really good
-
What's a k3 visa
-
This is the first time I hear this but I heard soon they will not let anyone travel back or go there and maybe close the passport since they have those signs
-
I heard that too and I hear different people say they are peaceful so I don't know what to believe, hopefully they are peaceful and I think they are trying to be in charge of everything in yemen.
Is it true that the people guarding the U.S. embassy have stickers with "Death to America" on their pickup trucks?
Sorry for the non-related question, just curious. I heard they're actually peaceful.
-
Can the people in yemen answer this question? Are there big problems in Yemen with anything because everyone is saying that there is and this might be the case for our cases taking so long
Please answer me so I can atleast know thanks for whoever does!

This is what I got back from embassy
I understand your desire to have your wife join you in the United States. However, the Consular Section in Sanaa is currently operating with extremely limited staffing. Your wifes case is still with the National Visa Center and we are not accepting new cases from NVC until our staffing improves. Therefore, I cannot give you a timeline for when your wifes case will be transferred to Yemen and scheduled for an interview. It will not be in the near future.
What did u send them when u sent them an email because im thinking of sending them one too
-
I heard the same thing two from some people that in jan they start giving interviews to new cases
-
Those are old cases. The problem is they're not accepting new cases. They haven't all year.
Yea they were old cases.. I wonder when they will finish and start with the new cases?!
-
I guess there's nothing new to share.
I just heard today that some people I know just got their visa couple days ago, so it is a good sign that they are issuing them
-
Anything has anything new to share
-
One of my cousins only took her a year until she got her interview and her visa. And she got her visa on January which is 7 months after her case was complete. And a lot of people here had their case complete same time as hers. I just wanted to say this because it's all about luck
-
Does anyone know if you can move your petition to Jordan if it's still in Nvc and has anybody done that? Whats the requirement ? Thanks
You can ask them but if you are you might want to ask them before they complete your case so after they are done they know where to transfer it to. I wonder if they would agree

So basically they're not going to schedule any new cases even if they have been more than a year...I am getting impatient
