All the embassies In yemen are already closed... How are our spouse be able to go to Jordan or some place else??

  2. Yes they can, but you have to file first the i/130. as soon as you get the notice of action letter which takes 30 days after filing the 1/30, you can file for a k/3 visa. If the i/130 reaches the nvc first then the k/3 is not void anymore.

That's sounds really good... I wish I knew before my case went to nvc... Then they would have to go to any embassy until they come in..

  3. I heard that too and I hear different people say they are peaceful so I don't know what to believe, hopefully they are peaceful and I think they are trying to be in charge of everything in yemen.

Is it true that the people guarding the U.S. embassy have stickers with "Death to America" on their pickup trucks?

Sorry for the non-related question, just curious. I heard they're actually peaceful.

  4. This is what I got back from embassy

I understand your desire to have your wife join you in the United States. However, the Consular Section in Sanaa is currently operating with extremely limited staffing. Your wifes case is still with the National Visa Center and we are not accepting new cases from NVC until our staffing improves. Therefore, I cannot give you a timeline for when your wifes case will be transferred to Yemen and scheduled for an interview. It will not be in the near future.

What did u send them when u sent them an email because im thinking of sending them one too

So basically they're not going to schedule any new cases even if they have been more than a year...I am getting impatient
