We got our Case Complete on Jan 15. We are waiting for our interview date. When do they usually schedule interviews for the US Consulate in Mumbai, India ?

How many N/A's do we see when it is a case completes and in what fields ?

My Actual Scan dates are 09/03 & 10/05 . Now they are claiming that I send additional mail on 10/20 and my last scan date is 10/20 and they would review based on that. After all its getting very frustrating !! & I can see people with my Actual Scan Dates are getting case completes.

I quit calling them and explaining and cant wait any longer. Most of the Reps are rude, they just wanna hangup!!

Really getting pissed off with the entire ordeal !!! I almost quit !!!

My guess is, calling US numbers from UAE using hangouts is not free and not even possible. I’m not surprised though, cause Magicjack and Viber are even blocked for calls. Viber we can use for messages but you are only lucky to be able to make call for 1 minute then later it says its blocked. Skype was only unblocked here few years back.

To make calling US numbers from free from UAE - just use a US Proxy and login to gmail & then make the call to any number in US or canada it would be absolutely free.

If you wanna also Access skype - just get a US VPN.

How do we check the interview Scheduling ?

I just checked the scheduling for interviews in december…no one from australia got it yesterday…so i am assuming either today or monday you guys will get an interview date.

- Are they reviewing based on AOS Scan Date or IV Scan Date ??

We received a weird e-mail form NVC today saying they received a documents we sent on October 29 (yesterday), please allow 60 days ..

But we did not send any documents to them yesterday, the last document we sent on Oct 1. What can it be??

did you try to file a e-request online to review the case, as its out of its normal processing times?

Also your petitioner should try to get his congressmen involved.

It doesn't mean that it will take 60 days... On 10/20 they scanned in the documents you send on 10/03 .. When did you submit DS-261 ?

10/3 is the scan date for my docs send on 10/2 by overnight mail

Ds-261 was submited on 30 September

yesterday NVC send me an email that they had received a package for my case. Infact I had already submited the documents in October 3 (CIVIL) & On Sep 5 (AOS) . One of the VJ members told me it might be due to an email I had send in. I was relaxed after that . Today just to confirm I gave NVC a call they are telling that they have received mail for my case with the bar code sheet that has been scanned in but me/my wife have not send in any thing & now our 60 days wait begins from October 20 . Damn I am loosing all patience. I think I need to get some depression pills now . This is so horrible & a nightmare

Yes, I did email them about a month back to remove FNU from my name & Correct the name in the system as per my new Passport. They had processed that on the 17th of october and send me an email on 17th telling that the name correction has been sucessful.

Have you emailed them about something? If so, that counts as a document too. But if you haven't then give them a call and find out.

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your documents on 20-OCT-14.

We are currently receiving an increased number of approved petitions from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. As a result, we are experiencing increased review times for documents received.

We expect it will be at least 60 days from the date we received your mail before we complete the review of your documents. We will notify you when we review your documents.

Do Any of you guys have a similar experience?

I did not send any documents after I send my civil docs on October 2 . Is this just an error or do I need to call Them ?

i know this question is irrelevant over here but thought you guys would be able to help .

Do we need to submit the original i864 form of the petitioner at the consulate Interview??

Did you submit the Original police certificate or a photocopy?

My confusion comes because on the wiki it states original, but on the travel.state website it says photocopy.

Any replies will be greatly appreciated.

Its orginal PCC in most cases. In some cases like the consulate in mumbai India, we can just submit the PCC during the Interview at the consulate

2. ORIGINAL Police certificate fromSaudi Arabia

The birth certificate I got for myself said Duplicate, but I had all stamps and signatures, so this did not raise questions. I think, many countries have 'Duplicate' listed on re-issued documents. I am sure you will be fine.
