I am going tomorrow to update my status with the SSA. I waited to have my naturalization certificate back from the passport application. Athough, I am now thinking I could have went with just my passport, which I have received 3 days ago. But better to be safe and have all documents with me, then have to go there again at another time. 

How did you update your status with the DMV? Did you make an appointment for it?

Hi all, I have just received my naturalization certificate back today, 9/20. 3 days after passport receipt date of 9/17. Tomorrow I am going to the SSA to change my status and then I am officially done with all steps. Yaaay!

Allow yourself up to 20 mins from parking lot to waiting room on second floor. It will depend on where you find parking. Also, the door to the building is not the door you use for InfoPass appointments. It is the door to the left of that one. You will have to pass through security check, so if you don't want to be delayed, take only the necessary things with you. I only had wallet, phone, car key and documents for interview. Also, if you wear heels, they make you take them off. I wore flats. When I went, there was no line at security check. Also, I knew my way to get to the door of the building. And I found parking on the first level of the garage. So it only took me 10 minutes to get to the waiting room. Allow 20 mins just to be on the safe side.

In terms of original documents, I only showed him my passport, green card, drivers license, marriage certificate, grant deed from our house purchase. He made copies of all of these himself. But you can already prepare copies to hand them to him. The rest of the documents I mentioned in my previous answer, were statements I've printed via online accounts. Thus, I have left with him.

Hi, guys! Had my interview for ROC and naturalization. It lasted one and a half hours. With about 30 minutes wait before that. At the end, the officer said that another person will need to review what he put together for the I751 after interviewing me, but he said he'll recommend both my cases for approval and that he thinks I'll be a citizen by the end of the month.

He did say "You don't have children together, but you have all your financials and mortgage together." Based on that he approved me. I had lots of other proof with me such as pictures, and joint car purchase and rentals, vacation tickets, but he didn't ask for those. 

He also talked about the timeline of where we lived together and where I have lived before coming here.

Hi, guys! Had my interview for ROC and naturalization. It lasted one and a half hours. With about 30 minutes wait before that. At the end, the officer said that another person will need to review what he put together for the I751 after interviewing me, but he said he'll recommend both my cases for approval and that he thinks I'll be a citizen by the end of the month.

Asking because I have a naturalization interview coming up too and hoping I'll have a combo interview..

When I changed my address on the ROC case, they sent me confirmation that the case will be adjudicated together with my naturalization. 

My ROC and naturalization interview was finally scheduled for August 1st! Can't wait!

Hi, I am in the exact same boat as you. Beginning of May I got letter that my case was transferred. I hope we hear something very soon.

So very sorry to hear about your husband. My condolences. Since you have your oath date, it means you have proved bona fide marriage for which you have received the citizenship. I do not see why you'd lose your eligibility.

I have also applied for citizenship so I hope NBC requested my file so they can process both ROC and naturalization together. One can only hope. I'll keep you posted!

After a year and a half, there is finally an update on my ROC case!!! It has now been transferred from CSC to NBC. I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Hi, fellow November 2016 filers! Looks like October 2016 filers are half way approved. Hopefully our turn will come by end of May. 

Great to see 57% of October 2016 filers have been approved! Gives me hope they'll get to us November 2016 filers by end of May! Yaaay!

No news for anybody?  I see they have updated the look of the processing times website. And extended the normal processing times quite a bit too  Hopefully we'll all start getting some news this month!
