Just called USCIS, They told me NCS has proccessed files up to March 16th, 2014 -__- When according to all the people from December, January AND February, they are soo messed up in their processing. Idk what to do other than just sit and hope my request is answered before the 29th of this month. I'm already in my 7th month of waiting now just at Nebraska Service Center, not even at Visa Center yet. so discouraged.

Anyone knows what day are they "officially" working on?

March 16th at NSC is what the agent just told me on the phone, called about 10 mins ago, Came on here to post so everyone would know this info!!

Hi everyone, I'm at NSC with NOA1 of Jan. 30th. Still waiting on any kind of activity on my file. Was able to put in a service request yesterday, got an email saying I should have a response by August 29th. Just some more waiting. I wish I had seen more approvals come in this week, seems there hasn't been many from Jan. this week, quite a few Feb. approvals though. Congratulations, and I'm happy for all who have been approved and moving on to Visa Center!!

I'm in the same boat PD jan 28 and nothing.. Yes it is very frustrating, I was able to submit a request today but that doesnt gaurantee anything.. Do you know exactly what date nebraska is working on at the moment? Because it seems that they just forgot about the rest of the January filers.. ?

I dont know what date they are working on, they only update that once a month but even then it really means nothing cause they jump all over the place with what files they work on. According to Igor's list it says Nebraska is working on Feb. 17th files, but there are a lot of us still waiting from January, but also December at NSC. So it's very hard to tell what is actually going on. I just hope I get an approval before any response from my request. I'll definitely be spending my waiting time wisely reading up on the visa center process, because I don't want to have to deal with any extra delays that could be prevented once I do get approved.

No activity in the thread for days now?? I have no hope. I was finally able to put in an e-request today, said I should have a reply by August 29th. More waiting. I feel like they have moved on so far ahead of January dates and the few of us that are still waiting are just seem to be forgotten......the feb. thread seems to be having a lot of approvals which doesn't help me feel any better about not receiving an approval yet. Although I'm happy for everyone, I just wish it would come through for me already!!

Let me share some information I heard.

10 DAYS ONE GROUP

One operator told my husband (petitioner) NOA1 on 13 - 22 is a group, 23 - 2 is the next group, and so on.

But when we called again to confirm this information to another operator, she said she knew nothing about it.

STILL ON JAN 13TH?

Last time my husband called them was on Jan 17th. They said they were working on 13th.

So it has been on it for 2 weeks.

Are they still working on 13th? It's important, we should share it here if anybody knows.

ADRESS CHANGING AFTER INQUIRY

On 24th, after my husband called them for expediting, the case status turned to "on july 24th, the related mail address was changed"

We didn't change anything about it.

Some people says it means somebody is touching your case. It only can be a good thing.

Also, some petitions got approved soon after that.

But on my case maybe it's impossible. Because It has already been 5 days since then.

Now I'm checking case status everyday. It's sooooo upsetting.

My husband is going to call them this Friday.

Hi, I just called again yesterday & they said they are still working on Jan. 13th, but from my understanding they only update the current date once a month. So we won't get a new date until mid august. The agent on the phone told me I have to wait until my NOA1 date is 6 months past their current date. So since my NOA1 is Jan. 30th I can't put in a service request tomorrow (July 30th) because they are currently said to be working on Jan. 13th which means "my turn is coming and just to wait it out" words coming from the lady on the phone. Seems like a lot of us are just in this constant stage of waiting, and there's not much else we can do. I haven't received any kind of change on the status page as far as a change of address or RFE request, which I guess is a good thing? I have checked a couple dozen cases after and before my case number and there does seem to be A LOT of cases who received an RFE notice on July 25th or July 28th. So all I can do is find some comfort in the fact that they are working on my case since they seem to be working around my case number. Hoping for an approval any day. I really don't want to have to wait until they update their date in August and then have to fill out a service request. She told me my file was still in normal waiting range.

Hi everyone, I found this site back in June for the first time. I have been literally waking up every morning and going to bed and checking this page all throughout the day to see if we have gotten any January approvals and what dates are getting NOA2. I have an NOA1 date of January 30th. Its gonna be 6 months in 2 days, and I am just so nervous. I have been calling USCIS and last week they had said they were working on January 13th filers (or after that date I'm not sure what they meant) but when I see how approvals are coming in there is no way to know what they are working on. They don't seem to go in any kind of order even if its by date, I have read a lot of the comments and there are people still waiting from early January. I am trying not to get discouraged but this is just so upsetting. I wish we could all have a speedy process and get our loved ones here! I was hoping my husband would be able to come to the US by sometime in December (before our first anniversary which is in January) but at this rate it's looking very unlikely as after approval we still have a long wait ahead at NVC/consulate for interview.
