Just a quick update - my passport showed up Saturday.. All in all, it took what, 14 days? Regular processing... I've been complaining about everything in US taking forever, but this was a pleasant surprise. I haven't received my certificate back yet tho. 

Guys, I didn't apply for a passport at the ceremony because I didn't have time to take a picture before hand - I also didn't have the time to wait in line there as the line was huge. Either way - just wanted to share that my regular (non rushed) application at the post office that I did July 21st, shipped out today August 3rd. Regular processing took 13 days. I feel for all you guys/girls. It's really tiresome to wait around like you are. I feel I've been lucky with my process when reading these posts. Hang in there - it will be done soon.

@Jaxx: For me neither - that's why I didn't do it there. A lot of people were asking and thought they had to do it there, but the ones sitting close to me ended up not doing it there. I have my appointment for this friday at the local post office. That's enough for me.

I would suggest to anyone who wants their passports fast - to do it at the passport agency in SF instead as the wait time is almost nothing. We've done both our kids passports there and never waited more than minutes from getting there. If you're not in a hurry - post office is the way to go and you'll get it fast there too if you want to expedite. I am not expediting tho.

I guess I won't be on visajourney as frequently in the future. Concludes like 6 years of membership I guess.

Btw: Has anyone on here seen the older naturalization certificates? The ones we got now feel kinda cheap and like they're copied off an original.

So, the whole ceremony was kinda over the top ridiculous - but fun to have witness. I didn't get my passport application submitted because the line was monstrous and I didn't plan to do it then before - so I hadn't filled it out nor gotten a picture taken. I'll just go to my local post office and get it done some time in the future. Don't have any immediate international travel plans until end of the year anyway.

So, they showed a recording of Donald Trump, wishing us good luck and telling how honorable it is to be a US citizen. If it would come from anyone else than him, It would have been better received. Having him talk is a comedy in itself. So, to anyone that will be going to the oath anytime soon - brace yourself. Donny video may make you lol!

My I-751 was transferred to NBC on May 8. It had been almost 2 months and still didn't receive an update. So I filed a service request for my I-751 today around 12 PM and received an update around 3 PM that my N-400 has been scheduled. I checked my service request status and it says it has been assigned to the officer for response. I guess the service request kinda triggered the interview.

Received notification early this morning that the Oath notice was mailed. Should have it mid next week - most likely for oath July 12th. Will update as soon as I know.

Case status was updated right now: Oath Ceremony Notice Was Mailed. I guess it will be the 12:th next month just like @Srragh84 and @Jaxx. Are you guys in the morning or afternoon oath?

Interview was yesterday. Officer was hillarious, in and out in in 20 minutes. Recommended for approval. Officer said oath should be June 12 but to watch out for schedule letter.

Had my interview yesterday. The officer cracked me up. We had fun, joking around. The test was a joke, I asked why even bother.. Anyway, Recommended for approval. He said I will most likely have my oath on July 12 in Oakland. Said to look out for a scheduling letter in the nest couple of weeks.

Added my interview letter date and interview date - letter came yesterday (May 14th, dated May 10th). Interview June 13th.

Did the officer confirm that your I-751 had been received by NBC?

Thats good news! I guess I751 was approved first yesterday but didn't get updated until today. Would make the most sense.

When you say reference, you mean your evidence package?

If it's your evidence, they might have received it last friday - but most likely your officer has not yet processed it. I wouldn't worry. You clearly have evidence you sent it and it was received so just stand back and let it take it's pace.
