Montreal also specifically put in their P4 letter not to bring anyone, citing small space. So, must vary according to embassy/consulate.

Ah yes, a VJ road trip to Montreal! Good times. With the amount of people going, could charter a bus. As it is, I'm sure calling out VJ handles while in the queue that morning would be certain to turn a few heads. Even though buddy @ NVC said that the consulate has a set number of immigration interviews per month, they are beginning to pile up rapidly. Consulate is either going to have to add a few more slots, or risk scheduling months in advance.
(PD and WJ will have another seat sale. I've also found that AC tends to lower prices to match PD, but not necessarily call it a sale.)
Other measures of central tendency from the spreadsheet (Cdn data only) for CC until interview -
    Average - 54 days, Median - 51 days, Mode - 54 days
Std Deviation - 15 days (minimum wait was 19 days and max was 115 - yikes)
So, based on these 114 data points, 54 +/- 15 is average. That's 69 days, which matches your June 1st possibility.
There's a pile of folks with CC June-August 2013 who waited 75-92 days for their interview. Perhaps there was a similar backlog situation then? DWHEELS, would you remember?
I suppose I shouldn't waste my time crunching numbers from all angles. My partner likes to remind me that "we'll get the interview date when we do". It's been about 15 months all told already....

I am happy to say that we got CC today! I had dreamed of typing out "CC" as many times as the number of days our case was at NVC, but 263 "CC"s would clog up everyone's screens.
Thank you again for all of your support... this forum has been a godsend.
    Continued best wishes to all!

It's odd. I haven't met anyone here in person, and yet, my heart actually sank when I read about the checklists today.
So sorry to hear the disappointing news. You are in good company, however. Let's all continue to be a support for each other.

Yes, calling to talk to an NVC rep who is somewhat transparent about the process is helpful, for sure. Please post when you find out, and thanks again for your kind words and empathy. Having this VJ community as a resource is better than gold: Folks who know all too well the fact that you couldn't make up the details of your visa journey if you tried... and folks who can give tips to make this bumpy ride a little more smooth.
    Cheers!

I am in a similar position, except that being a (single) mother fills my days and keeps me from going insane (I think!). It's tough to go through the forums on VJ here, and see that K1 filers seem to be approved and arrive in the US far quicker than people who are currently married. It's also tough to go through NVC milestone by milestone (wait for AOS fees, pay AOS fees, submit AOS documents, wait for IV fees, etc etc), and have an arbitrary amount of time to wait after each milestone. I recently received a note from NVC to say that they received my documents, and that we need to wait AT LEAST 60 days to have them reviewed. All the while, my son is growing and his father is missing him terribly. All of the bureaucracy behind the NVC seems to have clouded the fact that there are real people's lives being affected. And real pain being experienced.
