I did the same thing for my husband's G325A last year, so it still works. I signed my (petitioner) name and in the same signature box I wrote "husband will sign at consulate'. USCIS accepted it without an RFE. A scanned signature would probably work too.

So I know probably no one will want me to post this, but as an FYI I used scanned signatures in my petition and was planning for an RFE at the time I submitted. Turnes out, I never got one and my petition was approved. Additionally, I know of someone else who did this same thing as me and was approved about a month ago. It is always best to use original signatures however. Good luck with your petition!

Hi There! Welcome! I was in your shoes a couple of months ago too. One thing that I regretted was hiring a lawyer to help me file for my K1 Visa. I felt overwhelmed and it looked difficult or so it seems. If your case is a straight case meaning, no criminal records or complicated issues etc...then you most certainly are able to do it yourself by using the flow charts and guides on here. There are a lot of wonderful people here that can you help if you're not sure. Take it from me and other people who have straight cases that has had hired a lawyer...its not worth it! You will have to gather and do the work and all they do is put it into the forms and send it off to USCIS. You can get all of the forms from www.uscis.gov and also on here too...no need for a lawyer to give you those public forms.
It seems hard but its not. You're probably going to be a better job yourself anyways instead of waiting for a lawyer to get back to you or wasting money! The hardest part is how slow the process is, and of course missing him and waiting to be together! Good luck and let us know if you need help ok?

    Hi !!

You can file for a K-1 Visa yourself. You don't need a lawyer... I have a lawyer because my case really applied for one..I lived in the States my entire life since i was a little girl until i was 17 years old..and we needed a lawyer to provide all that information saying : was underage so i'm not banned from the States... Alot of people has filed their K-1 visas on their own..You can too
