  1. Have never heard of not issuing because the immigrant is too far along. The airlines makes the decision whether they will allow you on plan.

Requesting an earlier date with reason is up to you its not like requesting an expedite. Seeing your embassy already is so backlogged its highly unlikely but doesn't hurt to ask.

I know someone personally whose wife was held back until after delivery to pickup her visa. She was not denied, but was postponed. The CO clearly asked her if she is planning to travel while pregnant, giving the fact that she was in late pregnancy. She answered that she's planning to give birth in Morocco. The CO shocked her by his brutal answer. The visa will be issued after labor.

  2. Congrats to all who just got good news, and wish the other good news soon.

I was wondering if one can request an early interview because she is pregnant and wants to join her husband sooner. I was told in one case that an immigration officer refused to issue the visa for a pregant immigrant, beause she was pregnant, until after she gives birth in her home country.

Anybody knows how true could be this story?

I dont think they would deny a pregant woman a visa to reunit with her husband because of the risk of flying in high altitude.

  3. thankkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk youuuuuuuuuu im so happy :dancing: me too i receive today P4 letter today when do you except to pass medical exam and which doctor??

My wife is the beneficiary actually. The medical exam I believe should be one week before your interview schedule.

I was wondering if you know when you get approve, do you get your passport with the visa the same day, or you have to come back another day for it?

  4. hy guys....i havent posted much but i am just so frustrated i needed to vent....called NVC today waited on hold for 50mins and got disconnected.... i dexided to call again and waited another 50mins to hear the 60day story :'( this is redicious..... they just have to look at one piece of paper!!! i got a checklist for my marriage certificate :-((((

hope NVC picks up the pace! cant take this anymore!!! i was hoping for an OCTOBER interview but looks like that is not happening....i wish there was something that could b done for future applicants that are trying to bring their spouse legally and pay their share of tax and not to mention these NVC fees!

can you elaborate little more about the checklist(marriage certificate?) I'm asking this because I'm nervous about mine. I have a little mistake in it and I'm afraid it may come back I haunt me.

  5. hello all,

quick question: there is a question on the ds260 asking: Is your spouse immigrating to the U.S.with you? ( I am USC Appling for my wife) I am already in the US how do I answer that?

DS-260 is supposed to be filled out by the immigrant. since you are doing it for her, think as you are her. Now, the answer to that question would be no. Coz you are no immigrating with the principal immigrant.

  6. NVC issues a "checklist" when you've made a mistake, whether by omitting something or by entering it incorrectly. They ask that you resubmit the documents with corrections made according to their instructions, and right now, that'll set you back a month or two. Leaving that address field blank is something they very unfairly consider a mistake, so don't let them trip you

Question related to I-286EZ. In part 2, address of the immigrant, you use the foreign address or the address in the US, since the latter is the on used for all correspondence?

    Thanks
