  1. You would need to call them at 603-334-0700. I would suggest to start calling them at 7am EST as you would have a better chance to get through. If you get a busy signal, just keep redialing. If you call after 7am be prepared to be on hold for 30 minutes until you get to speak with an agent. They will ask you for your USCIS Receipt # to see if you case has been received. I started calling them few days after I received an email from USCIS that my case was shipped to NVC.

Have a safe trip my friend tomorrow. Super excited and let me be the first one in advance to say "welcome to America". :)

  2. There's no way to track your file to the NVC, only when it leaves the NVC to be sent to your embassy. The only way to know if NVC has it yet is to call.

Thanks, just for kicks will try them today, not at hoping to get anything, but OCD has kicked in. Thanks

Thanks, I have saved the number with an alarm to call them. :)

  3. Wooohoooooo I WAS APPROVED!! :dancing::D:lol::dance::yes:

Whole interview time took 20 mins in total from standing in line till exiting the door. They were so nice! I will post an embassy review tonight. It was strange, they didn't take my 2 new letters of intent, relationship evidence or registered mail envelope. I spent 8 months collecting relationship evidence (85 pages) and had it all neatly sorted and tabbed, but oh well.. I almost asked the AO if he wanted to see my evidence anyway, just to appreciate the work I put into it ;) It's like buying an expensive train ticket and not getting checked..

I'll get my passport back in 5 working days ^_^ And to celebrate I just booked my flight. 12th of October I am out of here!

Thank you for the kind words! ^_^

Thank you! I am indeed pretty much done, I think I'll sleep much better now.. Good luck to you too going forward, hope all goes smoothly! I bet you'll have your interview soon.

Thank you! And good luck to your fiance for tomorrow! Let us know how it goes  So exciting!!

Thank you so much! Yes that's the plan, but am also excited to see things moving, it shipped to the NVC yesterday and I have been advised to wait about a week before I start calling them franticly to get our case number. Yayi!

Oh my goodness, I am still shaking, WE WERE JUST APPROVED!!!! This is the best feeling ever!!! Now I honestly can't remember the next steps of all of this and all my 1-134 is from 3 months ago but I am so happy I can proceed with this process!!! I am just so happy now!!!

  5. Oh my god!!! FINALLY!!! I was checking this thread daily to see whether your petition is approved!! I am so happy for you guys. Good luck with all remaining stages, they will go faster now :)

daaamn so so happy for you!!

Thank you so much, all these wishes do mean a lot! Thanks

    it's about time!!! congrats!

    Thank you, thank you!

Absolutely. Keep checking your status. They should notify you again when they've shipped it to NVC (took ours 3 days, but others have said a week or 2, depends on where yours is in the pile). After you hear about the shipping, give it 7-10 days and start calling NVC to make sure they have it and to get your new case number. Call either early (7am) or late (10pm) and expect to be on hold for about 45 minutes for a very short conversation.

Once you have your case number, you can go ahead an fill out DS-160 and schedule medical appointment. If you haven't gotten pcc yet, start that now. It's a good time to gather all your documents for the interview as well!

Shipped yesterday to NVC, will wait till next week and then the calling begins. Thanks for all the details. Thanks again!

congratulations I was looking up to you guys ,there is hope for us too.

Their sure is, I just hope no one ever has to wait as long as we did. Thanks for your wishes and stay strong.

Is PCC the police certificate? In Punjab she gets a lot of push back, not sure if she can request it till she has submitted the DS-160 or got the case number. Tell me if I am wrong. Thanks for the info, also you mean I should keep checking my case status online at USCIS case check link to see when its shipped to NVC? Thanks

  7. Not true? What was incorrect with what I wrote? As you said, until last week it showed December 31st. It was updated September 4th to show the info I wrote. And I didn't say they were ONLY working on February and March applications... Obviously there is unfortunately some people such as yourself from January who are still waiting.

Excuse what I said, I re read what you said and I see what you were mentioning. I thought you mentioned that it showed up as Feb 2nd 2014 since July of this year. My bad.

  8. There's a light at the end of the tunnel!!

Just had confirmation we are out of security checks....after two months of them!

217 days....hopefully we can all stop counting soon.

Congrats guys, how did you get that confirmation? I would like to use the same route to get an update about that. I have been in checks for more than two months. ITs exciting you are out. Keep us all posted with your progress. Yayi!

  9. Its 242 days since we got our NOA1. still waiting on NOA2. My fiance raised an SR and the response is as below.

"Our records show that your Form I-129F is currently pending adjudication. We regret that we are unable to provide you with a completion date at this time. We apologize for the delay."

Did any one get this kind of response. not sure what exactly is going on.

    Heights of frustration!!!

    Hi

yes I am now somewhere in the 230 days plus area. Yes this is by far the highest height of frustration. I have no response from anyone so far. Same message as above. Can you fill your timeline and also which state is your fiancé in? Mine is in Punjab.

  10. We haven't received our NOA2 yet. We are at 215 days as of today. I have contacted 1 Senator (useless) and 1 Congressman (slightly more helpful than Senator) and placed 1 service request. Service request came back on 8/15 saying our file was placed on a processing hold due to pending security checks.... and now we wait...

Same story except I think I am close to 228 days. Contacted everyone including. On Sep 7th it will be thirty days to have contacted Ombudsman.

  11. Hey All,

Sorry for starting another topic about NOA2. Just want to see who else is waiting like me for NOA2, this is getting very ridiculous to wait since January while people whole two months later are getting approvals. Anyone else here waiting or had a progress recently ?

    Thanks

We are at around 215 days and nothing. Tried all avenues, senator, calls, uscis inquiry, nothing...... ?

  12. Update - received notice from my Senator's office today that my K1 visa was approved! I can't hardly believe it, I was speechless. I guess the squeaky wheel does get the grease.

    ChinaPostMan

Congrats chinapostman. You are one lucky man to have your response so soon. My case isn't 1/10th complicated and we have nothing. Well that's the curse of TSC. Either way happy for you guys. Pray for us my friend and I wish you the best through the rest of the process.:)

  13. 200 days today and security checks for 36 days!!

I would be fine, except my fiancé's grandfather has been very quickly deteriorating in hospital over the last few days. Not only have I been incredibly close with his grandparents the last couple of years, but he is the centre of the family and best man at our wedding. We're the first of the grandchildren to get married and I can't bear the thought that I might never get to see his grandfather again :-((( I got so upset last night as he keeps asking for me, but I can't be there! I really wish I could be there with my fiancé and his family right now, the family are falling apart and my fiancé is the one trying to hold them together, all on his own.

Sorry for the venting guys, it's been a sleepless night. USCIS, you are literally stabbing me in the heart.

this is so wrong. I am so sorry. We are also stuck in security checks. I think we are at 215 days. :(
