i don't exactly remember as it was 2 years ago, but yes he was in ap for 5 months then he received a call from embassy to submit a new medical ,following that he received his passport with visa packet, i am going through ap right now, hoping for the best lets see what happens.

Dear friends my interview was on april 2014 ...and started journey AP..after this i have no update till now ...at lest i received call from US embessy islambad .the lady said to me u r case is ready you just need to send a new fresh medical .i sent new medical ..,my Question is that after sending medical what happen and how many days on status changed to issued?

i think after you send your medical you will receive it within one week, same happened with my dad!! so congratss

Hi ,I sent all the civil documents required by NVC but then they requested petitioner's birth certificate from NADRA because I had sent them a hospital certificate, and petitioner's and beneficiary's marriage certificates in native language and the AOS because their were some errors in AOS. Anyways, it took me some time to obtain them, but on the very same day when I sent them the original documentsI received an email from NVC that my case has been closed at NVC and not to send any documents to nvc and the beneficiary should take them with him to the interview. Anyways, I called NVC right away but they said they don't know when they will send the documents back to me,it's been 3 weeks but I still haven't received the documents my father has an interview next week I am very anxious and nervous ... Please tell me what to do?

Also, what are some common questions asked at the interview?

tell you parents to get another certified nadra copy !!asap

thay call me too for new medical and my creation date is also change i m going to send my new medical on monday and one more thing thay change immigrant to nonimmigrant so please tell me when thay will issue my visa after recive the medical anyone know about that....

Hello guys.. my wife had interview on 23rd sep in islamabad

CR1 category. Interview went really well but she was given green administrative processing paper. Visa officer lady said to my wife. Dont worry everything is good but they cant issue visa right now .. have to follow procedure. You will get ur passport in few days. But dont worry interview is clear. So confused at the moment. What would hav gone wrong. :/

No idea, I just randomly checked other numbers of that sequence and turns out either they're case is at NVC or theyre ready for the interview. So frustrating

No man, still waiting. 4th week today since the last update. I really can't understand why these guys can't give you an estimated waiting period. What about you? any luck? is your case being updated? When do you guys suggest I call to check? October 6th will be 2 months since my interview in Islamabad.

October 12th would be 2 months for me and no updates after 2 sept , we have to give them at least 60 days. Many people get it with 3 months , I ,myself did back in 2008.lets just hope for the best.

Hello Everyone,

After waiting for a solid 1 year, I was finally scheduled for my interview on August 6th in Islamabad. My wife lives in the US. My CO was very happy with the case and said that my case is very straight forward and that there shouldn't be any problems. He kept my passport, he mentioned that my case would go through a routine AP and that it can last anywhere from 24 hours to several months. It has been a month and a half since my interview, I constantly check my status on the CEAC website and thankfully it was being updated every other day or 2 days a week until August 28. Ever since August 28, up until today September 18, my case has not been updated. This worries me a lot and I hope that there is nothing wrong with my case. It clearly states on the website and the white paper I was given, that I shouldn't contact them until 60 days.

Can anyone else tell me what could be the matter?

Is anyone else stuck in a similar situation as me?

How long will it take?

Am I freaking out for no reason?
