  1. I am a numerophile. Base on our various NOA dates, we still have between 15 days to a month of our processing time. I believe the recent approval from VSC, is the beginning of glad tidings to come our way. I am positive that Vermont Service Center is about to throw approvals our way. In fact, mine is exact 5 months 10 days. I am hoping to hear something positive in the next 20 days. My fingers are crossed. Interestingly, my wife is the calmer one. She tells me it is a process so we need to be patient. They have other applicants ahead of us. Lets keep the hope alive.

  2. Hi everyone. I am new to this forum but stumbling on this forum has allayed my fears. I called yesterday to get an update on my case, the service representative told me my case was over processing time so she transferred me to an immigration officer who seemed very mean. I told him i was aware of the first update i had on my case since my application for ROC was received. I also told him since then, i have not gotten any update. He took my information and other security questions only to tell me the same information online. Additionally, he told me that the 6 months processing time was just an estimate and a case could go way over a year or so. So i shouldnt call them and that they will inform me when they need me or make a decision. Long story short, there was no update whatsoever.
