So, I think this is Leon Rodriguez, the new director of USCIS, official twitter account:
Let's tweet the source, maybe we get the attention we deserve.

There is another sub-option CNN has this thing called iReport - where you can submit your own story. So if there is a will to do a combined story from a few of us from different parts of the wold - i dont think CNN will be able to ignore it. We could connect the story to the immigration reform that the government is reporting on. http://ireport.cnn.com/
This could also work as a pitch for the CNN journalists to dig dipper into the story. Just a thought.
Seems like they accept stories with Photos and videos only.

I was thinking to start tweeting about this and mention media in our tweets. Maybe social media data analysts would find us :/

Okay, just sent her an email! I think we all should. I did forget to point her to visajourney, if someone else wants to.
I'll send her an email tomorrow! We all should.

I sent a letter to the WhiteHouse ... lol. Like they're gonna do anything about it ...

It's in "February filer who wrote a letter to the senator" or something along those lines. But that's more going through differences between the service centers. Just give them your info. & why they should help you. Best of luck!
Bingo! thanks a lot

Hey guys, I'm hitting 6 months in few days and I think it's time to write a letter to my senators. I remember someone put a sample letter in this thread, but I can't find it. I went through all 70 pages, and searched on Google as well, but can't find it. Anyone remember what page was it? I really appreciate it.

I called USCIS 3 weeks ago, and they gave me that "December 3rd" #######. I just called them again today, and they told me they are still working on cases from December 3rd. I argued to talk to a Tier1 officer to put a special request, and she refused to do so. She said you just have to wait. This is so unfair! We're hitting 6months in a week.

Wow they added April's data to the dashboard, and the number of pendings is increasing. What the hell is going on??

No progress here... NOA1 January 24. FAAACK. Any. Day. Now.
you have the same timeline as us. No news here as well ... Good luck

Hey guys, I'm going to contact my senators too. Do you recommend emailing them or just sending a mail? Also, is there a sample for the letter you guys sent? Just want to make sure it's effective one

They answered the phone after I went through all the options. Which number are you calling, 1-800-375-5283?
yes, same number. I'll call them again on Monday. Thanks though,

I called the hotline and a Tier 1 (yes really, a Tier 1) officer put in the service request for me. Let me find the post I made about it...
Now, I told her I mailed the petition on 01/11/2014 (which is true), when I made the call it had been 5 months and 5 days since I'd mailed it. I expected her to tell me I was still within normal processing times because it was happening to everyone else that called. All I really wanted to know was what date TSC was up to. I still cannot explain how she did what she did but I didn't question it. I ended up forgetting to ask about what date TSC is up to! Other January people that tried after I did didn't succeed, and I really don't understand how I did. Bless that Tier 1 officer.
In the other TSC threads I read that some Nov and Dec filers were fudging the date they mailed their petition, apparently the reps can't actually tell when you mailed it. I also read that it's not uncommon to receive NOA1 3 weeks after it's mailed in (which is how someone got the bright idea to fudge the date I suppose), so when you call try telling them you mailed it like 12/26 and see if you get a request. It worked quite well for those Dec filers. One filer even put in an online request and "accidentally" put the wrong year they mailed their petition in, like 12/10/13 instead of 12/10/14 and they got an approval in like a week!
Oh, to answer your question, I didn't request an expedite.
How did you talk to tier 1? They don't connect me o tier 1 officers.

This is so unfair! CSC is approving cases in less than a month. What have we done wrong to be punished by TSC like this?! Me too, I haven't seen my fiance for over a year now, and it's causing some problems. You all know how hard long distance relationship is.

I was watching another forum, and just saw that one of their members got their NOA2 on June 17th. some action is going on.
-
Did anyone else gather all the stuff your beneficiary will need for the I-134 while we're stuck here waiting around? I just got all the pieces together and I'm sending it early next week, that way my fiance and turn around and put packet 3 right back in the mail. Now if TSC would quit that bake sale and approve our petitions faster...
That's a great idea. Is there any instruction on this forum, similar to K1 process?

Interesting, someone in another topic that contacted their senators in Texas said that one wrote back and that TSC is on Jan 13th petitions
whoaa! I hope so

Keep my head held high ... 3 more Dec filers got approved today ... cross my fingers !
Nice! Where did you see that. There are some approved on Igore's list from yesterday, but nothing from today.

Finally some good news congrats derrickmichillle

I think we are talking to the same person. This is beyond stupid. I told her to transfer me to a tier 2 officer and still waiting. 80mins waiting time. And the system can't sign me up for a call back option (stupid again)
They have been telling us "December 3rd" for almost a week now.
-
I called today just now!! Surprisingly it only took a couple of minutes to get a live person!
They actually put in a service request for me, here's what happened...
Spoke to Tier 1 officer named Angela, I let her do her whole spiel without interrupting her, answered her basic questions:
- "Are you the representative or petitioner?"
- "What form did you file?"
- "Who did you file for?"
- "What is your receipt number?"
She told me it was being processed at TSC (dur), then she asked what date I mailed the petition. She looked up the current processing time and told me it was 5 months, she said "5 months means to add 5 months from the date the petition was mailed and that according to what I said my case was in fact outside of the current processing time" (exact wording). At this point I asked to be escalated to a tier 2 officer to put in a service request. She said it was not necessary since she could in fact do it herself. I was surprised because I didn't realize Tier 1 officers could do that, I told her I didn't mean any offense (truth) and she said "not to worry it's a common misconception".
She was able to put in the service request, my service request receipt is SR116114XXXXXTSC. She said to give the service center a minimum of 15 days to respond and a maximum of 30 days to respond. She said I could call back on July 3rd if I heard nothing by then. She was nice to work with, phone call was about 12 minutes total.
Lucky you! My timeline is very similar to you, and I called them just now to put a special service request, and I was told by the agent that they are now processing cases from December 3rd! She said 5 months normal processing datementioned on their site is out dated, and now they are 49 days behind that processing time. That means for us the processing time is now 7 months, and I can only put a special service request after 7 months, or 49 days from now.
Why do they give out different information to different peopel?! it doesn'tmake any sense at all.

Just spoke with TSC , like 20 minutes ago, they work at December 3th.... I am a january filler to... I am over 5 months...
They give different date range every time.

On the bright side, lots of movement in the Dec thread ... it's getting close

Only if we all do it ... I really think that's our best bet, as we can send our message directly to him
