Any updates? Another week goes by and nothing... I don't understand how they work, feels like the close their eyes and then pick a file and start working on it. First come first serve is not applicable in VSC.

What form did you used to file for the service request?
I believe I used the number that is on your biometrics letter.

I just checked my USCIS online account and it says on my case history:
"On July 12, 2017, your general inquiry, referral number WXXXXXXXXXXXXVSC, was assigned to an officer for response."What could this possibly mean? On July 5th an officer said he would submit an inquiry for me but why is this dates july 12th? Today I wasn't told they would submit another one or perhaps the one from July 5th was assigned to someone today?

Just called USCIS to speak with a tier 2 officer and he told me I called yesterday and there's no change still, that I have to wait.
This whole wait is making me anxious

I've been calling since last week pretty much every day and I've been told to wait as my case is under normal processing time
. One officer decided he wanted to create a service request on my behalf and I should hear a response before the 20th..

Does USCIS allow I-751 to be couriered? If so what would be the address? Anyone else done this? Is it a good idea or overcomplicating things?
The online form https://www.uscis.gov/i-751 online mentions a PO Box address. AFAIK Fedex/UPS don't deliver to PO Boxes.

I mailed mine using UPS and it was delivered fine. You just have to give them the full address when you ship it and I included the "Box" number.
I sent mine to VSC, so I wrote:

I would add quarterly statements.
You don't need to write Photocopies each time or showing a joint account, and joint financial obligations and responsibility, over the course of marriage or really anything that says "showing...." Submit the evidence. They know what it shows. They know bank statements show you joint your finances. They know a lease shows you live together and take joint responsibility. They don't care that the photographs show you having public displays of affection (which not everyone does...) It's just wordy, and long, and unnecessary. You can include it if you want to of course, but personally, I think a list of the items like this is easier to read and to the point.
- Joint tax return transcripts 2014 & 2015
- Photographs together and with family
- Rental agreements
- Chase credit card statements
- Capital one credit card statements
- Wills
- Medical Powers of Attorney
- Just a simple list like this shows what you're sending without all the excess. Do it how you want to do it, because this is merely advice.
For example here is ours:
No RFE. Approved in 6 months from CSC.
To be honest I look at it now and could have removed "copy of" on my items too. See... I'm not perfect and can tell where I could have totally improved now that I'm removed from the process.

RE: bank and credit card statements
We sent summaries and ended up with an RFE. I would recommend sending every bank and credit card statement including transaction pages going all the way back to your marriage (or at least as far as when each became a joint account).
We ultimately got approved but not before an extra 2 months passed. We spent that time gathering more paperwork and then waiting to hear from them.

How big was your package? We have 3 credit cards and a checking account together, I'm not sure how it will fit in a folder
. I think I'm going to go with sending quarterly statements of each one of the cards and accounts.

Should I add all the credit card statements? the year end summary includes transactions through out the entire year, I thought sending 24+ statements for each one of the credit cards will be too much paper. What do you think?
Yes, we have the leases for the sublease of both apartments we've lived in, that is also included on my list.
Life insurance yes, current health insurance no, the deadline passes and we are without health insurance as of right now. We have dental insurance though.
We have a joint IRA account which is also listed on the list.
No vehicles in NYC.
Should I change something?

State ID's are on my list already.
We don't have any utility under our names as we have been subleasing apartments in NYC.

My priority date came and I submitted N-400 online. Now I have these 2 cases pending. Online filling seems to be much more friendly and less complicated, they should do it all like this.
