Sorry for not updating everyone! I received our NOA 2 on May 16th! So our processing time at Nebraska was roughly 3-4 weeks. Stay positive everyone! My days have been scrambling to put together the IV and AOS packages... Lazy of me I know, but thought I would start putting them together around the 3 month wait since everyone was saying the wait times were between 5-9 months. I hope all of you are as blessed as we are and that you have smooth sailing and fair seas!

Awesome Mccartna! Good luck with your journey!

Thanks allot! I have most of the papers printed out in triplicate... The best part I love is you all and this site. All this knowledge and help really means allot to us!
I thought about it for awhile, and if it is about where disaster hits makes the immigration move faster just seems wrong but on the other hand I want to say YEAH!!! We all get there eventually, some faster then others and I hate reading about people who are still stuck over five months... I can not say how many nights I worried about getting a letter that states needing more evidence. I hope you all get processed as fast as our package did!

Thought I would check the status, know it's kind of silly to do so, since everything says it should take another 4 months minimum, but got approved... I'm guessing this means I am moved to NVC now... Seems fast doesn't it?

I met her online at filipinocupid.com and we just chatted for about 6 months online via Skype. Then I went to visit her and her family in Libmanan, best time I had, was said to leave.

Thank you everyone! Wishing everyone good luck and God speed!

@ Teddy: Mine was sent to Nebraska. Seems to be the slowest, at least from what I have read... Guess it could have been rejected right from the lock box, so I am thankful and want the karma to be good!
@ Tanak: When I received my letter, NOA 1, at the bottom left hand corner it states the address for the service center. Also, I received an email that stated what service center it went to with the first sentence.

I think I went over board on mine, so don't think by doing it would fast track, but I thought if I was a government employee who just wanted to get threw the day, since the supervisor would say you need to handle at least 20+ cases a day best get the easy ones out of the way. They see mine, it's in a binder, all the pages out in page protectors, all the pages have tabs with each marking what that tab is. Everything that can be typed, and not using a pen is done so there is no way they can not read my writing. Cover letter explaining all the contents, table of contents, that 1145 along with the payment just slipped into the page protector. No staples, since against pay in the side to get that staple puller out, then the 130 form, marriage certificate, my 325 form along with passport photo, my birth certificate, beneficiary 325 along with passport photo, beneficiary passport, beneficiary birth certificate, Bon a fide evidence: photos, affidavit from 2 non family members, western union money transfers, bought a cow with receipt under married name, airline itineraries printed out, hotel itineraries printed out, and four months worth of chat log.
Over board? Probably, but if they look throw it and their only complaint is I miss spelled or forgot to check a box and everything else is ok, I can live with overwhelming them. I figure the people at service center will spend more time looking at the 90+ photos, the wanting to really read four months of chatting. But I can safely say I did everything I could to show a Bon a fide relationship, which is my biggest worry. Although waiting as the other person who posted from May 2013, I hope it does not take a year just to get through service center. Half a year, fine no problem. Now I would get really upset if after a six month wait I get a notice that there was a problem with one of the forms... That would suck, then having to wait even longer.
Would a lawyer really speed things along or just save from chewing finger nails to the quick? I don't know, but I like to think we are smart enough not to give our money away to vultures. Others have done so, why not us.
Hope that helps you Ms!

I sent in my package to Chicago, next thing unknown it got sent to service center, and NOA 1 arrived. I thought the NOA 1 would have taken a month since Chicago would review before forwarding, but it seemed like Chicago only had it there for two or three days. Normal time? Or is this expedited?

Got my I-797C NOA 1 2nd of May. Now it's time to kick back and wait for the 5 - 9 months approval or the rejection cause of an error...
My question who put there package together with a table of contents, labeled them, binder, and thinks they have a better shot then those who just tossed the papers hoping and praying ☺️

Just getting the package all together felt like a pain, but you know what it was so worth it when I finally sent out the I-130 the other day. Felt like any day now we will be together!

I will, it's nice everyone can see that there is movement, but I never thought that philippines was expedited compared to other countries. But one must also remember having all those T's crossed and I's doted is a must! I know I triple checked my work and still found mistakes. Don't get frustrated if you don't hear anything right away, and keep the faith. Time is on your side and life will be further blessed when you are together with your loved one...
