    60 days is the minimum. Then you get CC. It takes about 2 weeks to schedule the interviews which are about 30 days after.

    It varies, but the norm is about 6-7 months. There has been cases that have lasted as short as 3 months or as long as 1 year.

    You guys realize that the whole process is around 12 months or so, right? You just started and it has been only over 2 months. It's worth the wait, but you have to take it easy and wait, otherwise you won't make it. Try to visit each other. It will help you make time goes faster. That what we did.

    I have also been in your shoes and the recommendation from Sweetopossum is spot on. Be honest, stay calm and don't say more than what you are asked. During the last year of this process I have been traveling every 4-6 weeks and stay about 3-4 weeks in Seattle with no problem. I always say I come to visit my partner and the length of time I will be there. I also carry the NVC paperwork with me in case, but I have never been asked for anything.

    You are right. This forum is to help people after you have done your due diligence to inform yourself about the process. There are ton of information here, but you need to look and do your homework. It might not be your intention, but coming across demanding it is not going to get you anywhere. This is not a government site. Go to the previous link posted, read and inform yourself.
