By the way in the packet document they send me, there is no mention of sending the documents anywehere
http://photos.state.gov/libraries/guayaquil/231771/PDFs/WEB%20PK4%20Visas%20K%20_May%202015__002.pdf
And below is the only thing I've found on sending documents, but nothing on registering to send the package anywhere.

Please help!

Hi all,
I followed the instructions in this document which gives you step by step instructions on how to register an account to send the packet via DHL to the embassy, but all I found was an option to schedule an appointment and pay the $260 fee.
https://prezi.com/gc9qnxdfnt0p/step-by-step-k1-visa-process/
If I go to http://ecuador.usvisa-info.comI can register for an account, but nowhere it says anything about selecting an office to send the paperwork.
I did select a DHL office to receive the documents back, is it the same office I am supposed to send my paperwork at??
Thank you for any information.

Hi,
Again I have found contradicting and confusing information regarding paperwork.
Can anybody tell me if I should send the medical exams via DHL or bring them to our interview?
As per this document it states that my fiance will be given a sealed envelop and bring it to the interview.
http://photos.state.gov/libraries/guayaquil/231771/PDFs/WEB%20PK4%20Visas%20K%20_May%202015__002.pdf
However, this other document lists the medical exams in the paperwork needed to be sent via DHL
https://prezi.com/gc9qnxdfnt0p/step-by-step-k1-visa-process/
If anybody can shed some light on the subject it will be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi all,
I have a question regarding a question in the I-34 form.
There is the following question:
Name of spouse and children accompanying or following to join person:
In there I entered the name of our 3 year old son's name. He is a US citizen, I read later that this is for people also asking for a visa.
Is it ok to send the form like this or should I send my fiance a new one without the name of our son?
Thanks for any help.

Thanks, that reassures me there won't be issues when they are comparing her passport photo, to her after the surgery.
P.S. I didn't post this twice, maybe I did by mistake, but didn't do it on purpose.
Thanks!

Hi all,
My fiance, wants to have surgery because she has something wrong with her nasal passageway. According to her, this will change her nose appearance.
We are ready to send the packet and schedule the interview. Is it ok for her to go through with the surgery, and get some sort of a note from the physician about the procedure?
Should I just stop her from going through with the procedure? or am I just being paranoid?

Can anybody pleaseee, tell me what I need to send in the package?
Also, do all documents need to be originals or copies? Especially the passport, birth certificate, W2 form??

Hi all,
My fiance and I have gathered all the information needed for the K1 packed and all she is waiting for is the medical examination which is scheduled for Thursday 7/17
Knowing that the package will be sent on Friday or at the latest Monday, can I go ahead and schedule the interview appointment now, or should I wait after mailing the packet?
I am just trying to plan ahead, and avoid any more delay than I have to.
Thanks for any help!

Hi all,
I am in the middle of putting together, but I am a little confused on what needs to go in the packet to send via DHL and what I need to bring to the interview myself.
I have completed the DS-160 form, and my fiance is making an appointment to schedule the Dr appointment, which at that time they will give her something to include in the packet I am assuming?
The reason I'm asking is because there seem to bee conflicting information from this form
http://photos.state.gov/libraries/guayaquil/231771/PDFs/WEB%20PK4%20Visas%20K%20_May%202015__002.pdf
which lists the affidavid of support and evidence of relationship.
and this form does not list these items in step 3.1
https://prezi.com/gc9qnxdfnt0p/step-by-step-k1-visa-process/
If required, does she have to include the originals income tax report (1040) and W-2(s), pay stubs, or can they be copies?
Do I need to include the evidence of relationship, can it be the same that I sent with my I-129F petition? It states in the one form to "bring evidence with you ....", but I could be misinterpreting.
Thanks for all your help in this paperwork jungle

Great news, I got the email confirmation to proceed with the packet today!
I am filling out the DS160 today and will pay the fees.
My question at this point is, at what point does she has to go for medical exams? I am guessing that they will give her some sort of letter stating that she has had the exams and that is what she would have to include in the packet, because if I am not mistaken I think I read that the results would go directly to the embassy.
So, should she schedule an appointment asap?
Thanks all for the great support!

Thanks! you guys are awesome..So I found the ceac web portal and entered the case number, two records came back one with a 01 and another with a 02 at the end of the number I was given, is this normal? Both records are in Ready status, both had same creation date, however 01 has an updated date of 26-Jun-2015 and 02 has an updated date of 30-Jun-2015I will try to fill out the DS160 application tonight, but please let me know if anybody knows if the two records might be just because there were some updates to the case, or are there two different case numbers and I am missing the last two digits...

Ok, so I read somewhere including in the steps in this link
https://prezi.com/gc9qnxdfnt0p/step-by-step-k1-visa-process/
that I should not submit any documents unless I hear from the consulate.
Does anyone else have any advise?
This is really stressing me out, I'm starting to wonder if I should have just paid a lawyer..

Ok, so going through my mail today I see I just received my NOA2 today
Should I start filling out DS-160 or wait for the NVCs letter, or for the embassy to contact me?
Sorry about all these questions, but I want to do this right and this is my first time at this.
Thanks!
-
Hi,
And thank you for the response, however there is conflicting information.
When I called the NVC, I was told the all contact now should be with the embassy in Guayaquil, but I have not receive the official NOA2 letter, but they provided a case number.
Now in the website it says:
To wait to be contacted by the NVC as they will schedule the appointment??
http://guayaquil.usconsulate.gov/step-2-national-visa-center-nvc-case-preparation3.html
I see people, filling out and sending the DS-160 application, even before receiving a case number the (GYQ***) number.
This is all very confusing, too many contradicting information and the fact that I moved right after they sent the case to NVC is not helping either.
Can anybody clarify this for me please. Thanks

Hi all,After weeks of trying to reach the NVC, since I didn't receive the NOA2 letter. I finally got through to them. the rep told me that my case had been sent to the embassy in my fiance's country (Ecuador) and provide me with the case number (GYQ*****). I asked my information be updated with my new mailing address and she said she had no further information and all my dealings are now to be with the US embassy in Ecuador. My fiance and I have started collecting the required documentation mentioned above. My question is, what do I do now?Wait for the NVC's confirmation letter?Wait, for the embassy to contact either me or my fiance?Contact the embassy to let them know about the change of address?Start making the Dr. appointment? All of the above? Not sure what my next step should be, If anybody can provide any help it would be greatly appreciated.Thank you!

Hi all,
I didn't know if I should start a new thread or continue here.
After weeks of trying to reach the NVC, I finally got through to them. The rep told me that my case had been sent to the embassy in my fiance's country and provide me with the case number. I asked my information be updated with my new mailing address and she said she had no further information and all my dealings are now to be with my fiance's embassy.
My fiance and I have started collecting the required documentation mentioned above.
My question is, what do I do now?
Wait for the NVC's confirmation letter?
Wait, for the embassy to contact either me or my fiance?
Contact the embassy to let them know about the change of address?
Start making the Dr. appointment?
All of the above?
Not sure what my next step should be, If anybody can provide any help it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Thank you Sandra, for the valuable information.
I have started to gather all the documents needed, but I have tried contacting every day to find out the case number, but only the machine picks up all day long.
Is there any other way to contact them??
-
Awsome!!! Thanks so much guys.
My question now is, do I start gathering all the Documents for NOA2? and is there anything else either me or my fiance needs to gather other than the documents mentioned here?
