  1. @sio05 hi! glad to see another member from Boston. I didnt do early walk in, went the day i was scheduled for...to my surprise it was pretty empty and fast! I hope you get scheduled soon, i was pleasantly surprised that i got a date so quick, hope the same follows for you

Yay Boston!!! :) Thanks for the well wishes. And good luck for the interview. i'm sure it will go well! :dancing:

  2. so this morning i got the text and email saying that uscis is sending me a notice for interview on may 14th.

Wow! You're moving along nicely! We are both in Boston and both filed same day and had biometrics appointment the same day. Still no word post biometrics for me. Did you do an early walk-in for your biometrics? Congrats! This gives me hope that the Boston office might move a bit faster than I anticipated. :goofy:

  3. I am getting very worried now. Still didn't change. Did you every had an initial rEwiev for your gc? Or it just changed from acceptance to interview? It's more than two weeks after my fingerprints date appointment and about 3 weeks since I did early walk in...

I feel your pain. We have the same timeline - Filing date and biometrics date. Tomorrow makes 2 weeks for us and still no change online from acceptance for me either. And I see other people in Boston who've filed a little after me change to 'testing and interview'. It's probably not in our best interest to be reading all this information on a daily basis. Haha. I just keep drinking after work every night to ease the stress.

Here's to us both being updated sooner rather than later. Until then, feel free to about it with me :goofy:

  4. I didn't do an early walk in either.. had no clue that you could! My status has changed to 'Interview & Testing' but I wonder if it would have changed a couple weeks ago had I done an early walk in.. very frustrating!

I wish I knew too….. Oh well. It seems it takes anywhere from 2-4 weeks after biometrics to get a change to 'testing and interview'. I check my phone and online religiously. It will be two weeks in 2 days. Then i will certainly go crazy until I get an update. I need to get busier at work or play more tennis in the evening to keep my mind off it.

  5. It seems everyone did an early walk-in. I was the silly one who waited the entire three weeks for my Biometrics. I could've been in the 'Testing and Interview' stage by now…. I'm sooooo anxious about this.

BTW, if I created an online account to check my updates is it problematic to put a different email and phone number than the original one sent with the application?

  6. HEY GUYS!

    MY AOS pack I-130, I-485, I-131,

    Feb 20th 2014 sent off
    Feb 24th 2014 USCIS received
    Feb 28th 2014 text & email NOA1 & Cheques cashed
    March 3rd 2014 Received NOA1
March 5th 2014 received Biometrics Appointment
    March 26th 2014 Biometrics appointment

Waiting!! I hate this part. haha. I'm so impatient. No updates online. My case was updated last on 02/28 according to the USCIS.

  7. So I have begun the pst biometrics waiting game and have been curious about the wait time. It seems some people wait and additional month or two, others another 3 or 4 before their interview. Of course none there is no formula to this. However, does being on H1B and having a substantial 14 year record of living in the country on F1 visas then H1B speed up the process at all?

    I am just curious.

    Sincerely,

    Impatient and Curious
