Still nothing and when I check the status is says wait time now is 5.5 months not 5 months . I seen someone on here yesterday that got their NOA1 on June 30 and noa2 on July 31 from philipines also . Not sure what is going on. The dealer was probably fox ' s.

Hopefully yours will be any day now - you were about 10 days behind me with NOA1.... so maybe soon for you.

I sent mine off last of march and haven't heard a thing . Texas service center from I have read is just slow . Possibly because they get the blunt of applications . I think from what I read most people wait til after their 5 months are up and then start calling .

Yes she is going back to philipines for her interview . But she has to get papers from me and the phil. Consulate also . I am afraid they will intercept her mail and not let her have it . The lady employer already told her she had to resign if she went to the Philippines for her interview . She did not like the idea of her going . Not very nice people at all .

Well I don't think the problem would be the friends but the other employers . There has to be laws against it . Just because they are rich or not is no excuse .

I received my NOA1 as you see in my time line and I haven't received nor wanna receive any ref's . The time lines I am following with the same or near dates of mine are pretty Much the same . Btw I am from north carolina also about an hour north of raleigh.

Question I applied for the k-1 visa and my fiancé is from the philipines but works in hk . She will have to have the police cert. Does she do it the same way or is it different for a k-1 visa filer.

My fiancé is a domestic helper for a couple in hk. I applied for a k-1 visa . My question is what are the laws as far as opening another person's mail . Here in the us it is a federal crime . I am afraid her employers will open her mail or not let her have her packet from me or the embassy in the philipines . They have opened her mail before and read a letter to her instead of giving it to her .

Thanks hank . I am trying to get ahead of the game so I know which direction to go . As I stated her employers I think might be a problem so we will have to figure that out and switch her interview to the Philippines if they don't already do it at the visa center .

My fiancé is a domestic helper (aka maid) in hong kong . Her daughter is 5 years old and lives with grandma and family in the Philippines til she can get the visa approved . I know she will have to have the medical exam (daughter) but what is the chances she will have to have an interview also . I put hong kong as the consulate because I called the Immigration department and they couldn't tell me what I needed to do . My fiancé employers are very strict and not sure it they will willing let her go back to the Philippines for her medical and interview . Has anyone had experienced a child that young having to interview.

Nice! Ours was delivered on the 29th (Which was a Saturday so I'm guessing they didn't get to it until Monday the 31st)... If all goes the way everyone has gotten them, we should have some news our NOA1 early next week.

They received ours on sat. Also waiting on a hint lol they have their hands on it .

I have only ever flew delta and and my flights were very smooth . Two times they had trouble with ice at the gate and they made sure it was all safe before they would let us leave .

Her employers wouldn't let her daughter be there with her . I will have to research it and see if anyone else has had this dilemma .

Daviddelene if you would keep us posted on your progress and process . My fiancé also is in hong kong and I wasn't sure if they would let her do the medical and interview in hong kong . She has a daughter living with grandma so not sure how they will work that out .
