Well i am in the waiting game because of the awa. My application after interview was sent back to uscis and then onto nvc for further review . Sad thing is i do not fall under what is listed in the awa . Anyone with advice let me know . I have hired a lawyer but doesnt seem she is doing much imho .

I just wonder why the consular officer told her they had follow up questions after they got the police clearance . Then they do this . If it was denied then why not say so instead of doing this . Just trying to have hope .

Everytime i have emailed the embassy it takes a month or two and sometimes never to respond .

The 221g was for a hong kong police clearance and as far as i know they have gotten that already . It takes atleast 4 weeks according to hong kong to do their part .

Well the interviewer told her that she would have followup questions for her when she came back for a second interview . But it is odd now they sent it back to nvc .

I just checked the ceac website . It says case returned to the nvc . My fiancee got a 221g for hong kong police clearance and sent the request to hk . I am sure they got it but now it says sent back to nvc . Is this a good possibility of denial .

One question at interview was how many times have you met in person and she said once for 4 days . The lady made the comment and after being with him 4 days your ready to marry him and she said yes . The reason it was just once and for 4 days was her employers was very strict and would only let her off for that time .

Anyone have ideas or been in same sitiuation . Any waivers i might can file if given the chance . Calling congressman immagration guy today to see if he can help .

It would seem to me that even if a crime wasn't committed the detective to request to speak to her . Maybe even talk to the neighbors . More times than one I am sure something bad has to happen before there is something done . Then it is to late.

I checked cebu and they seem reasonable I will check pal also to compare.

Has anyone bought tickets from the usa for fiancé or fiancee in the Philippines to travel within the Philippines . Fiancee has to fly from naga city to manila and I am trying to see if I can buy the tickets online cheaper than what she can buy directly .

Ok fiancee went online to set up interview appointment . She filled hers out and then it asked if anyone would join . She said yes her daughter and asked for passport info payment etc. So it gives her a date and time . Now does she need to set a completely different interview appointment up for her daughter or did they just combined them .

Ok thanks everyone my fiancee ' s daughter will have one the 18 and I was just curious because on the interview page it is asking for passport info .

Is it required that a 6 year old on a k-2 visa have a passport . I know it is a good idea but my question is it required in the Philippines.

Ok I just checked the ceac website it says hnk then the number then mnl and status ready . I had to email the iv replies her address and this is the people I have emailed since sept. 21 to get it transferred.

Chengcheng we are now transferred from hk to mnl . Did you number change from mnl.... to hnk.... I just got an email from them saying she can schedule an appointment but the letters haven't changed and they are still using her hk address on the email . I emailed them her Philippine address as they requested when they informed me it was transferred.

Yeah she just got a letter saying they had our firm I filed.

Do a search on that package your talking about . Find hank's page and if it is the package your talking about you won't get one in the mail .

Yeah mine was being transferred as of dec. 24 . It updated again dec. 29 which was my expiration day .

Well her daughter is keeping her positive . She is only 6 and has to talk to me everyday which just tickles me do much . Good luck to you too I know others have had and have got it worse but it sucks for us all .

She really doesn't have reliable Internet there . And mom is looking at money coming in not that she is waiting on the visa . This time last year mia was the only one working out of a family of 5 grown ups and three in school. Her mom is one reason her patients are running low .
