Hi everyone my interview was approved on the 15 of Oct.!! they asked 3 or 4 questions which basically was how many kids we have and with who and where they live. we saw the paper work with approval stamps before he even asked. I can't wait. My fiancé should be here the first week of november so excited!!
yesterday i checked online at ceac and it was at administrative processing today i checked it says issued. so he should be receiving it hopefully next week.

Of course!! Never doubted it!! lol SO happy for you Congrats!! so what did they say, what is the next step? They are mailing out the visa to your Fiance?

In spite of all this I hope they fix it soon, I just got my approval by, text and email today!! 8:47 pm. I'm so happy, we are both so happy and excited. He is in shock still he's so happy that we're almost together now he's about to call his mother right now as we speak. Check it out below:

That info you supplied was great. At least I know know that even though they are asking for RFE, that when they receive the info from me it will be worked on immediately because of my congressional inquiry. i will probably receive that letter by monday.

Jonyork congrats!! I do believe the, reason I got a response for an RFE was because of the congressional inquiry. So I'm a little bit closer. As soon as it arrives I'll know what it is and send it right away. That topic you posted, says that they put them on hold and as soon as they receive the RFE info they request they work on it right away. So I'm actually happy they are working on it. I do believe it was the congressional inquiry. Now they have to get done.

As soon as I receive that letter and know exactly what they need I'll be sending it over asap. Especially now since they know my case is an congressional inquiry

Dec 19th TSC filer here. After being denied two service inquiries via USCIS, one at the 5 month mark and the other at the 6 month mark, I placed a inquiry via my senator's office last week. Not sure if it is a coincidence since I haven't heard back from my senator's office yet but, my Petition was approved today! Hopefully, there will be more of us Dec filers being approved shortly. Good luck guys.

I don't know if you guys have seen this thread from a former USCIS adjudicator, but I saw it just now. He has some very interesting and helpful things to say. If you haven't seen it yet you should definitely read it. It'll probably help you.

One of the most interesting/helpful things I found - for those of us December filers who still haven't been approved - is what he had to say about Congressional inquiries. Namely that when you file a congressional inquiry, "those get pulled and worked right away (usually)." !
"i.e. Senator Numbnuts says "CIS - I understand from my constituent - Mr. Hotn'bothered that (according to him) you have been processing his application for his dear fiance in a less than timely manner. Can you please look into this matter and let my office know when it will be approved." System usually says - "pull and work file immediately" 'Nuff said."
So do it - if you haven't already. We all qualify since it has taken so much longer than promised.

He also gives some great insights into what goes on there and why things take so long. Reading this could help ease your mind a bit.

Well I just sent my letter to my congressman and senator. So I hope I hear from them soon. lets keep our fingers crossed.

Well the 2nd Tier officer called me back, he said typically these cases take 6 to 7 months tops. To try and be patient and let them process the test.
I told him its frustrating when others who in jan 2014 or feb and even march have gotten approved. I asked him about why is that, he say sit depends on the work load of each officer, what they have.
I'm sending an email anyway to the senator. They might get the same answer but at least I tried. So then after July 8 i can send a service request? incredible that would be almost 7 months then. And then probably 2 and a half more months through, NVC, the consulate and an interview.
They should just really say 6 months to 7 months.

I suppose it's all who you talk to. Everyone who I have seen, as well as the website they say you have to wait 30 days. But hey doesn't hurt to try I know I would multiple times lol I hope that you hear something soon!
