Soloenta, I am so sorry to hear what happened to you. I have no words other than I hope God sees your pain and helps you and your husband with this situation. I firmly believe God's timing is always perfect and I hope that is the case in this matter as well. My heart goes out to you and your husband.

I just realized that 10/17 is the last day of the second week and then it starts with 10/20!! I....am.....tooooo....excited!!! OMG it's almost time!!! I will be so bummed if i get a checklist so I am really praying that Christ will guide my reviewer and give me a CC
it's coming you guys! We're almost done with this part of the process!!

I haven't had my interview yet It's until 2/25 but I can let you know what I know so far:
(1) It all depends on the dates they have openings but when I did the appointment, it would allow me to choose up to 2/24, the day before the interview. I didn't choose that because I am doing biometrics in Tijuana, not Juarez.
(2) I don't know about hotels, but I needed a room with two rooms so I chose La Quinta Inn & Suites. My friend is staying at Quality Inn and another stayed at the Wyndham.
(3) When you set up biometrics, you also have to set up where you want to receive your visa via DHL. If you want to get it in Juarez, choose the DHL in Juarez. However, be aware that it can take a day or two or longer. We don't have time frames because each case is different and it all depends on them at that point, not us. I cannot stay in Juarez past the 26th so we chose the DHL in Tijuana.

This has happened to all of us at the Juarez embassy. Don't stress, it's an easy fix. In the message that says that your case is not ready for scheduling, send an email to the email address provided. Put "Case not ready for scheduling" on the subject line just like it says on the instructions. Follow the instructions that it says on there: To put applicant's name and date of birth. Attach a copy of your P4 letter and send it. It takes them usually 4 business days exactly to get back to you and their response will let you know that your case is now ready for scheduling.
If you send today, you should get a response by Wednesday of next week so try to do this today. Once you get their response, choose the first option that says "I want to register my immigrant visa appointment" in the drop-down menu and just fill in the info again. You'll be done in like 5 minutes scheduling everything, it's quite easy once you are able to access the system. Good luck!

I'm so happy to see all of the interview dates....glad the consulates decided to start this week. Totally wondering what date the interview for my husband will be....would like it early February but financially it would be best in mid-February (past the 15th) lol....let's see what God decides! Just FYI that I received my CC email this morning (exactly 7 days after CC of 12/15).

This is really up to you. I put N/A in that section as well and where it wouldn't let me do it with the computer, i wrote it in LOL
By the way here is my BIG tip: This form (at least for me) printed differently than what i had checked off. So my advice is this: after you are done filling it out, print it and review it again to make sure that all boxes are checked and all amounts appear.
When I filled it out it was perfect, but when I printed it the military question and citizenship question were not marked and the total income for the past 3 years were not there. Had i sent it in just like that, i would have received many checklists! So triple check your work AFTER you print it, not just before.

I just got off the phone with NVC and the rep informed me that they are completely done scheduling January interviews. She said they should start scheduling February interviews the first week of January (so January 5-9). Just fyi in case anyone was wondering. I'm happy to have CC and I trust that God's timing is always perfect so if it's going to be February, that's ok with me

It's official, Lidia (very pleasant and super nice) was happy to say that my CASE IS COMPLETE AS OF TODAY!!!! She even said Merry Christmas!!!

Yes, the NVC/embassies only schedule interviews at certain times, not as they come in. They usually start scheduling the last two days of the month (weekdays only) and the first week of the new month. One VJ member was told that they will start a second round of interviews this week so hopefully I make it for a January interview.
Here's an example: NVC started scheduling interviews the first week of December but Egypt barely starting scheduling today. NVC sets up the interview for us BUT the embassy is the one that decides when they begin to schedule and what dates they give. In this particular part, NVC is just the middle man, the embassy has control of setting a date.
