My fiance had a meeting today at the Baltimore immigration office and they said that I shouldn't expect to be home in the US until December/January. Our NOA1 date is March 3rd.

I work for an American company and it's very frustrating when they ask what the status is of my I-129F and I can't give them an answer; This has been costing me career opportunities. There is a position just minutes from our home, which once again I'm going to lose out on, causing me to wait until everything has been finalized and end up taking a job that I have to drive an hour to.
My fiance is filing our I-129F because we want to be together and start our life together and have kids soon, but HELLO, people still have bills to pay and and future savings to build up; Why don't they get it that it not only are we away from our loved ones, but the expenses that we take on during this process and waiting for our EAD, is just as bad?!
Sorry guys, I just had to rant..

Anyone have any updates for February filers at TSC? I'm happy to hear that people are getting their NOA2's so quickly but it's frustrating to see people from March get their petitions approved already! At first I was just happy to know that we filed and just had to wait, but now I have been so anxious about it.
There are so many people who live abroad from their spouses and have to jump through more hoops (so I thought) than us, which is why I thought that our case would be so easy! My mother has her PR and I went down to work on a visa, met my fiance, went back to Canada and finished school, and obtained two additional visa's and shared an apartment with him and our two dogs. I was even able to transfer within my US based company to a location in Canada when I couldn't renew my work permit! Now that we finally decided to get married, we can't even plan things like a normal couple because we have no idea how long this process is going to take.
Sorry for the rant, but I'm sure you have all been in the same boat.

Congrats Abby!! This makes me happy since we have similar timelines, maybe there's hope for us too!!

Looks like we sent everything at the same time and received the same response times as well. It's nice to be able to compare other Canadians timelines for a sense of hope!
