I have a question, does everyone receive an email after the NVC receives our IV documents?? I have not received any email from NVC after they received my IV documents..Is it somethnig to worry about?

I submitted the DS-261 on 7/26, but between that time and waiting for the IV bill, my wife (beneficiary) mistakenly clicked on the DS-261 link but did not resubmit. As a result, the DS-261 status shows as "incomplete". I read here in the forums and called NVC and confirmed, and they said that as long as it was not resubmitted, the 30 business day counter would not be reset.

I found out by calling NVC that the DS-261 was reviewed and accepted on 9/4 and I received my IV bill on 9/10. So looks like there was no problem clicking on the link (phew). I mailed the IV package docs on 9/12.

My question, though, is how long after the IV bill has been paid should I have to wait for the DS-260 available to fill online? I'm still seeing a "Not started" status with no link to complete the form. I called NVC and they said it should be available about 3-4 business days after IV bill is marked as "Paid." I called a second time after 3-4 business days and then they said they don't know if anything is wrong and that we should wait (he didn't even offer a timeframe).

Has this happened to anyone? The DS-261 remains "Incomplete" and you didn't have the ability to submit the DS-260?

I had faced exactly same problem with my ds-260 and called the nvc couple of times and they gave the same response to wait 3-4 business days everytime i called and with waiting and repeated calling them i came to know the problem was from their end the nvc had to change and update the ds-261 from incomplete to complete and then only we could start the ds-260....I had to wait for so many days to submit my ds-260 due to this problem from nvc.....I recomend you call them and tell them to upadate your file then you can start your ds-260...

Not true. It's just last December's interviews were scheduled during one round only, not the usual two.

Correction: They had only one scheduling round during December 2013, instead of two. The scheduling was for the February interview dates.

Hey adil I never said they dont schedule In dec. I was quoting that someone else mentioned that there isn't any second round of scheduling in dec. and first round occurs around 15-25th of every month that's y I was preparing myself for January. But let's pray it was just for 2013 and they do schedule second round this time! Ameen!!

Bos if u r reading this I wanted to ask that u were the one who said that December is the only month where there isn't second round of interview scheduling right? So if we get approved first week of November there isn't any chance of dec interview? Just thinking.

Hey samreen can you clear this what do you mean by there isnt chance of dec interviews?? Nvc doesnt schedule interviews in dec?What about people who get cc by november? I was hoping to get a dec interview...

Yup, still lurking! It wasn't me who made that comment about December though. Possibly it was dwheels, as she keeps much closer track of interview scheduling than probably anyone on the site. She might have some past examples to show that would be the case, but I've seen her state a few times that the two round scheduling system is new to this year, so I'm not sure.

Im just being curious about this. For those of you (including us) who sent their IV packet before there IV fee, what do you consider as your last scan date, your IV Packet or the date you completed your DS-260?

i also want to know the answer to this question...

Do they consider last scan date as the day IV package was scanned into their system or the date ds-260 was submitted,if IV package was send before submitting the ds-260?

Can somebody please help me with this..I cant start my ds-260,my IV bill appeared paid on 8/20 but till now i cant open/start my ds-260...I called the nvc yesterday the rep told to wait another day or two...Is this normal or am i the only one facing this problem? Or am i doing something wrong? Somebody please help me with this...

I got a checklist cover letter,i dont know what that means...It says to attach the given cover letter with the documents and send it..I dont know which documents are they talking about coz my AOS package has been send and reviewed on 6/23..It also says to submit the ds-261 which i have already submitted on 6/10..I dont know what this email is suppose to mean??Can somebody please help me or tell me please....

I received this email today,what is this suppose to mean??? Its my 38th day after submitting the ds-261,I was waiting for my IV bill to be invoiced and i received this email.This soooo depressing,how much more time are the nvc people gona take...Did anyone else receive this email??

just called to NVC.. the girl is kinda sleepy.. i told her that tomorrow will be our 30 business day since our last package (june 20, 2014).. i asked her if we can get results tomorrow, she said "probably".. hoping for the best.. i wont call tomorrow.. im extending 3 days for their backloged.. she also told me that our AOS has been reviewed and it's fine (that's her term "fine")..

Can anyone tell me what dates are the NVC processing now?? Its been 36 days since i send my ds-261 and my IV bill is still not invoiced...This is so frustrating...How many days are they taking these days to invoice the bill?? This process is getting depressing day by day....

I have no words to express my frustration really! This is unacceptable. I submitted mine 10 June. So when will be available August??!!!! It's terrible really. After waiting so long with freaking Uscis.

Yes. Exactly the same problem, submitted the form on May 13th, then it showed as incomplete after a couple days so I resubmitted it on the 21st. Called NVC and they only have a record of the one I submitted on the 21st. Insert standard "wait 30 days" reply here.

I called the NVC and finally got a hold of them, they didnt receive our case and they said it takes 3-4 weeks for them to receive it..IS this true???Its surprising to me as everyone's case was received in 2 weeks or little over 2 weeks....Our case was shipped on 4/17/2014....

You have to call them at 6033340700 and find out if they received your file or not. Yes the line is usually busy and you would have to keep trying until you get through and then press 1, you will then have to wait for good 20-30 minutes (depending upon your luck) to speak with an agent.

Hey hi all.... do we get email notification that NVC has received our case or do we have to find out only by calling them? whenever i call them the call is busy,i cant get through...Does NVC have their offical site like USCIS?? If yes can somebody please tell me whats the site ??

Our case was approved on 4/8 and today i received an email saying "On April 17, 2014, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly."

When should i start calling and any idea when will the NVC receive my case??

Well, we woke up this morning to an email from USCIS, saying we are.....APPROVED!!!! FINALLY! bdrew, our NOA2 date is 4/17. Good luck to everyone else here waiting, especially those who were waiting there with us at the Nebraska Service Center. I know all of you have an approval coming soon!!!
