APPROVED!!!

I had my interview yesterday at the Mumbai consulate.It went good,the CO asked me just three questions,didnt ask me for any documents and said i am approved...

After 3 hours status on ceac website changed to issued.....

Thanks to everyone on this forum who helped me alot during this process and a Biggg thank you to dwheels for helping and answering all my questions....

An updated I-864 with the new job information will need to be brought to the interview.

Is it necessary to tell them about the new job and take the updated I-864 or can i just go with the old job infomation?

I have a question if somebody can help...My husband recently (last month) got a new job,i have my interview on 12/8 so at the interview should i be telling them about my husbands new job or the previous one of which the documents were send to the NVC...

If i tell them about the new job will they ask for any documents if so what all should i take with me....

Another follow.....is the medical required before the biometrics? Or can the biometrics be done first?

I think medical is required before the biometrics as they ask to bring the medical reports to the bometrics..

Quick question to the fellow members...

My wife has her visa interview in Mumbai on Dec 9. Can she get a fingerprints/biometrics done at Hyderabad? I see there are 5 Visa Application Centers to get your biometrics done in India, but was wondering if the biometrics should be done in the same city as the interview?

I have my interview on 12/8 at Mumbai embassy and i have scheduled for biometrics and medical at Hyderabad..It can be done at any of the 5 centers, not necessary to be done at same city as interview..

Ya I also have another friend with 12/8 for Mumbai showing still at NVC ... It might be NVC update issue.. her interview was scheduled on 11/10.. and 11/11 was holiday.. they probably didn't send it.. might be with next week shipment

My interview was scheduled on 10/31 but it still shows "At NVC"...

Guys!! I m in absolute and complete shock!!! Got our interview date and I still can't believe It!! Dec 8!!!!! I m Sooo happy and excited. I wasn't expecting anything before 20th dec!!! Now if inshAllah interview goes well I can spend New Years with husband. V excited ))) our cc was nov 4th!

Hey everybody, today was my interview at the Mumbai Consulate, India and extremely pleased to say that I have been APPROVED!!! Whole interview process was over in one hour. I will post a detailed experience later. It was a tough interview because we had lots of red flags, which meant lots of questions.

I have a doubt regarding the biometrics appointment is it same as the OFC appointment? can i schedule the biometrics from the place where i am staying at(hyderabad) or do i have to schedule it in mumbai itself and what all documents do we need to take to the biometrics??

I called the NVC and they dont have an interview date for me yet...cc 10/21

I guess they havent started scheduling for india,mumbai embassy...

Now this is a situation that does warrant you speak up at interview. First have you called NVC to see if it can be changed now? If its too late just bring it up before you take the oath. I believe they ask is everything true and you can say I misunderstood the question about the refusal (of course they know but you need to let them know you aren't hiding this). I have sen denials because people thought the immigration is dumb I guess and didn't keep track. So just be sure you bring it up before they say "we see you lied o on your application". Yes they can be that blunt. Don't be scared honestly always win out.

Yes i had called the NVC as soon as i realized i made this mistake,they told me to give a letter explaining the mistake and tell the CO before the interview...I am going to do that,should i also send an email explaining the mistake to the embassy once they receive the case?

I didnt mean to hide anything it was stupid mistake, i hope i dont have bear any consequences because of it....

I have asked this question previously on a different thread but still i am freaking out because of it....

I made a mistake in my ds-260 for the question where it asks about if you have been refused a visa to US before..I clicked no where as i should have clicked yes because my k1 was refused but due some misunderstanding i clicked no as answer by mistake..... It was a stupid mistake and i dont want the CO to think i was hiding something...

What should i do about this?Should i send them a email after they receive my case or should i clear it with the CO before the interview?

Will this be a problem at the interview?

If somebody can help me with this,dwheels or someone..

Today I got the email from NVC they confirmed my cc 10/21.

Me too i got cc email from NVC today,last scan date 10/21...

Possible this week they may start or next week.

As you can see its for November they got. Which means their embassy still had slots open. That happens with less busy embassies all the time.

The scheduling will be for December slots.

I have a question" when the NVC starts scheduling the interviews do they send us an email or do we have to call them for the interview?"

So got back my medical results today in a sealed envelope and a vaccination record and CD in clear plastic bag. I am to hand over the envelope at interview and the vaccination record and chest X-ray CD to the immigration officer at POE. Because no further testing was required, I understand nothing came up in my medical, so am good to go. Regarding the vaccinations, I did provide the record from my physician and it was not good enough for the panel physician, so he has marked it as "A" for the required vaccinations meaning "insufficient time to complete series." He did check "complete" for vaccinations at the end. Now, got biometrics next week. Supposed to take medical results with me but another applicant says not required.
