Of course that's what the 90 days are for, but I'm saying it also has other benefits that just giving you time to plan your wedding. A lot of people coming on the K-1 have never been to the US before.

    Thanks for your quick reply!
InshaAllah things will turn up for everyone soon! I am praying for everyone in Administrative Processing. I didn't know how long and depressing it was until my husband was in it
But we have to keep a positive attitude and remember nothing is difficult for Allah! In one second things could change.

I got an email from the embassy this morning. They said my husband's visa has been issued and he has to be in the States by March 9, 2014.
Most of you know our story. We were in AP 16 months when our visa got denied because the embassy said we were not legally married because I am a Christian and he is Muslim. We hired an immigration attorney and won our appeal. Our case was sent back to the embassy where we were kept in AP almost another 2 years.
My husband is strong and he kept our marriage together through the long wait.
I want to thank all my friends on visa journey that supported us and encouraged us through the years.

I agree with the previous posts, however, I think that meeting him in person is obviously the most important thing you can do at this point. Any other factors, like age and not having any children will not raise an issue. I looked into marrying my fiancee in the Philippines, but after some research it seemed that the better thing for us to do was to pursue a K-1. I called a few lawyers and did some research on the internet and found that the Cr-1 appears to be much more scrutinized. It can take much longer and you need to have more, for the lack of a better term, burden of proof.
Good Luck on your journey and hope that meeting him fulfills you imagination!!
