Did you apply for K1? That was fast...
Yes it was a K-1 visa App.
Wow congrats on getting approved so fast!
Thanks! Being retired Army I was expecting much longer. The old hurry up and wait mentality.
I agree with Greenbaum, get the NBI and NSO documents ASAP.
It's fine to bring the shot record but as aside St. Luke's will administer vaccinations as required just the same.
Yes the passport is acceptable ID.

Thanks for the flashing arrow
making life easier already.
Time to kick it up a few notches.
Recommend that she get all her documents; NBI, NSO, Passport etc. out of the way. Leaving it to that close to the interview only invites trouble. Make sure she uses all the names she has used in her life time when doing her NBI. Birth name, marriage name, AKA's ect.
Shot records can be provided to SLEC but they will do the tests and administer those that they deemed necessary to meet the USEM requirements. It's all included in the fee. No need to go out to a local Dr. and get updated shots as they are included also in the fee.
Valid passport and postal ID are acceptable for NBI.
So if she went in two weeks to do all this would there be too much of a gap in between the NBI report and the interview since we don't have an appointment yet?

Kumusta Po
Just got our NOA2 13 days from our NOA1 so I guess we need to kick it into 5th gear... (c:
I have a couple of questions:
When she has her appointment and goes to St. Luke's 7 days prior can she do all her NBI, Official Birth Cert etc... or should she go sooner to make sure there are no issues. She lives in Leyte so if we can get it all done in one trip that would be awesome. She has never had any trouble or issues so unless there is a name mismatch I don't foresee any problems.
Also her shot records from the Clinic in her Barangay will be accepted at St. Luke's?
On the NBI online application is her Passport acceptable for the ID Type? Or should she use the postal id or any other type of ID?
Salamat,
Pete

Been to Inopacan twice and both times never wanted to leave.
I love the importance of family there and I discovered I was not so bad at Videoke... lol. We had the best times going in town to the market riding around on her motor just hanging out with the family or going out to Canigao island or Baybay and walking around. When my fiancee goes to baybay now the potpot drivers ask her where her wrestler boyfriend is. The security guards always ask when I am coming back and that we are a sweet couple.

Doma was repealed so it would be illegal for your application to be treated any differently. Good luck!!! You will be good to go I'm sure.

For all the paperwork needed on my end for the Manila US Embassy interview is a scanned copy ok for my fiancee to bring to the interview? Living in the province of Leyte I know that the post office there is a little shady and the local Virginia LBC here only ships by boat (couple of months to get there) since 9-11. If I do scan it should I get it notarized?
