For the India consulates, does anyone know how long the biometrics appointments take? I see they're scheduling 56 appointments every half hour. So can I assume we will be out of there within 30 minutes? My wife will be traveling in and would like to schedule the medical the same day and accordingly to the biometrics. Thanks.

my interview is on dec 12 8.30 and biometrics on 11th at 16.00 hrs. u may hv to complete it at least one day prior to your visa interview.

Hey everybody, today was my interview at the Mumbai Consulate, India and extremely pleased to say that I have been APPROVED!!! Whole interview process was over in one hour. I will post a detailed experience later. It was a tough interview because we had lots of red flags, which meant lots of questions.

I am certainly no expert on this but I am pretty sure I saw on a post somewhere that if you get an interview date email before the CC email is due, seven days after your Case is completed that you never receive a CC email at all. Does that make sense.

When was your AOS AND IV scan date and cc date?

Sep 2 was our AOS checklist scan date and cc on oct 28

I just recieved the p4 letter by email.my interview Will be december 18

But In the letter theres No list of physicians.is it normal?

Got interview package today by mail for dec 12 interview,hv Scheduled an appointment for biometrics on 11th through embassy web -ustraveldocs.com/in (selected document delivery location as well) and of course i have booked the flight ticket and hotel etc lol ...now preparing for the interview (reading interview reviews)...

Yes i think you have create a profile and schedule an appointment for biometrics and choose the passport delivery option before your interview. Below is the link for mumbai consulate instructions

I believe for India you need to have the biometrics done prior to the interview. Please go to the website below and select your respective embassy

On the PDF, you'll get the instructions of how you need to complete it.

Biometrics is the finger printing process, which for some countries is done prior to the interview. India is one of those, so they need the medical and the biometrics done prior to the interview.

I'm not sure what the biometrics appointment is... Is that different than the medical? Because the medical you definitely have to have before the interview.

i got interview date for December 12th cc on 28/10 nd our pd April 2013.one of my friend who has a cc on 16/10 got later date

Ppl with earlier priority dates get earlier interviews after CC

Can you please elaborate embassy will consider PD to schedule an interview? I filed I130 for my wife in Feb 14 and she got her case complete on Oct 14. I am US citizen. So, she will have to wait for her interview like LPR's spouses do? I thought PD doesn't really matter for US citizen spouses while scheduling an interview.

Not always, see pjm on the spreadsheet, could be an expedite, but not that I know of. Anyway, talk here was how long NVC is taking to ship out the file to the consulate once interview has been scheduled.

expedite is an exception.while embassy schedule an interview they will consider this (i hv this information from the consulate) and of course it can be depends on case lol..no idea..
